   I highly recommend this restaurant! I was there for a Friday night pre gig supper - the gig was downstairs at Troubadour. The food is good quality, portion sizes are good too, it's good value and it all arrived quickly. The drinks menu has something for everyone, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, cosy, vibrant and friendly. The service was excellent! I want to give a special mention to Debbie - who was the duty manager when we arrived, she was very helpful, listened to our specific needs and gave the foundations for a relaxed evening. I'd also like to thank Christopher, our waiter that night, for going above and beyond to ensure our whole experience at Troubadour was exceptional. He was delightful and charming, with a very professional manner, his sincere welcome and excellent service throughout the evening made all the difference. Christopher was simply fantastic and he is an asset to Troubadour, Thank you so much!

The Troubadour has long been known as a hub for creativity, and the performance I attended captured that spirit perfectly – intimate, soulful, and engaging. It felt less like a concert and more like being part of a shared artistic moment. Service was warm, attentive, and genuine. The staff contributed to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that guests felt comfortable and well looked after throughout the visit. What made the experience special was the combination of historic charm, quality food and drink, and vibrant cultural energy. Dining and listening at The Troubadour felt like stepping into a living piece of London’s artistic history.    We just stopped by for a drink and it was good. Was really hoping to see show my husband the downstairs but it wasn't open which is such a shame as we are heading back to Australia. But it's a great spot with lots of history.

   As an American, stumbled upon this fine establishment and wanted to have a modern English breakfast. This place did not disappoint for my first English breakfast, I don’t think any other spots will top this. 5 stars all around. Staff was amazing, food was amazing and atmosphere was to die for.

   This is my small local with a big character, the food is always great and I love all the staff. Walked in 15 mins before the midnight on the new year’s eve and got served perfect cocktails just in time for 2023 and a kiss. Happy new year, and see you soon!

   Troubadour is one of those places you must visit at least once in your lifetime. Some restaurants are more beautiful with candlelight, but you'd appreciate this place better in daylight. The only thing I didn't like was that we were seated at a tiny corner in the back, all by ourselves, whereas the front was nicer and livelier. As per the food: The brisket burger was nice, although a bit salty. Overall not so much the type of place I’d be looking forward to going back to. It feels as if the business is trying hard to bring back a more exciting time in history, but it lost its soul long ago.

   The volume level of the young revelers the Tuesday night I visited was almost unbearable. I was hoping to enjoy my 1st Shepherds Pie which came with spicy kale and edit pictures in peace. The server changed my table but it wasn't any help. The food was delicious and beer strong thank goodness.

   I had the brisket sandwich, very tasty and perfect portion. The fries need some help but they are in the right track, personally I like them crispy. There was a very young chap in there with a really creative hat, he was full of energy and loved music and to share the history of the Troubadour with me. Definitely go and visit.
