Overcooked salt and pepper chicken wings and old chips for my salt and pepper chips what happened to this place ain’t the first time I’ve had rubbish food
asked for a vegan meal, the two lovely ladies with huge smiles on their faces at the counter sorted me out, no big questions asked, apart from which sauce I like. I paid 6 pound for a meal that would have fed 2 people, but it was so good I ate it all myself. 12/10 superb place!
Tasty food at really decent prices.
Tried to overcharge by £1, not a good start. Curry consistency good, but no flavour just spicy medium. Good proportion of meat (chicken and beef curry). The chicken was tasteless and very dry as if it was small thin piece's of frozen cheap meat. Looked forward to a decent meal when I got home, but VERY dissatisfied. Never use again.
As value for money goes it doesn't get much better. Usually order things like salt & pepper chips or ribs, beef or chicken chow mein/fried rice & these have always been reliable.
Had it for our New Years takeaway, unfortunately this is the only place we could get through to. Chicken balls - Fatty chicken that’s consistency was like mush. Also the batter had more grease than Danny Zuko’s barnet. Sweet N Sour Sauce - It was a jelly more than a sauce, moved across the plate as one solid entity. For a second I thought it was breathing. Prawn Toast - Burnt like a fair skinned Brit in Tenerife. Satay - Just tasted of nothing. Noodles - Were actually alright, their only saving grace. I get it was New Years, but surely the standard of food can’t be that bad? The ready meal section in Morrisons is better quality. Won’t be using again, would recommend Honour House or Fortune Cookie in Queensferry.
Very quick. The chicken curry was ok but the very large chunks and texture seemed a bit dodge to me. My prawn toast was excellent and I enjoyed the special fried rice. Standard, good value non-authentic chinese.
