The Cedar is truly a standout in London. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth of Lebanese hospitality. The butcher counter is filled with fresh meats and poultry, but what makes the experience unforgettable is the way everything is prepared. Chef Mohamad Kheir brings incredible passion and authenticity to every dish. The flavors are rich, balanced, and full of tradition. From the perfectly seasoned kafta to the tender shish taouk, every bite tastes like it was made with heart. What impressed me most is the ability to choose from the butcher counter and have it grilled on the spot, which makes it feel both personal and special. It is not just a butcher. It is a deli, a kitchen, and a cultural experience all in one. Chef Mohamad Kheir and his team make you feel like family, and that level of care shows in every detail. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine in London.

Update Firstly the prices at this restaurant have increased significantly over the past 18 months. Nonetheless, I ordered late this evening via Ubereats. The restaurant sent out the order and it was disappointedly burnt. I can only imagine the manger accepted the order but the kitchen has decided to leave work on time rather than correct their mistake by cooking the dish again. How can you be proud of your work if you don’t have a problem with sending this low quality of food out of the kitchen. Uber is going to refund me for most of the cost but this is disgraceful. I’ve never received a burnt dish before from any online delivery. I now have to decide whether I order from another restaurant to delivery an alternative order or go hungry as it’s getting too late to eat. I’m very disappointed. ————————————— I’ve ordered takeaway from here for over ten years. The food is always tasty and great and like others have said the portions are generous.

Great variety and quality of small plates, sandwiches and meals. Meats were perfectly seasoned, liver was amazing, salads refreshing. 2 small plates per person will still be a lot, generous portions. Delicious fresh breads. Great option for dates and/or hangovers.

Great food, amazing service and you feel like you're there overseas. It's amazing how they can bring all the experience right here in London. Authentic Lebanese food. There are vegetarian options as well and freshly squeezed juices which I recommend. Free parking on the weekends and also a short walk from Queens station.

Cannot recommend this place enough. The three of us had planned to get our own dishes and just share a couple, but everything was so amazing we had to try it all. The Tabouleh and Fattoush salads were unreal, the falafel was the best I’d ever had, and the hummus Beiruty was lovely. The whole meal all we talked about was about amazing the food was. We also had a large glass of house wine each and ended with espresso martinis, alongside our 7 dishes, for just under £30 each!!! AND they bought us free baklava to end the meal. Amazing value, especially in London. The staff were lovely and the service was prompt. It was so good we even went back for takeaway the next day. I could live off your food!!

I usually order online and the food is always good. I wanted to eat at the restaurant today and the food was amazing. Generous portions and authentic taste. The Lebanese Foul dish is excellent here and the Balila. Try the Sujuk with eggs but only of you are eating at the restaurant, egg dishes are usually better when it's still hot.

My favourite restaurant in the world. Been going to the cedar since I was a baby - probably been there over 100 times with family, my girlfriend, or just by myself after a hard day, and the food has always been amazing - not a single bad experience. Great value for money and by far the best Lebanese food in London. All those Lebanese chains like Maroosh are absolute scams in comparison to the cedar. 10/10 recommend!❤️

I have been ordering from here for over 5 years with no issues and I am not sure if ownership has changed recently but my last 3 orders have been terrible... the quality and the quantity of the meat is below par (I remember how I used to brag about how good the meat was!).... the most recent incident today, which made me write this review is I ordered a FRESH orange juice with my meal (as I am not feeling well) and instead received bottled mango juice???? This place used to be soo good.

I really didn’t enjoy my takeaway here. I ordered a baby chicken and rice. The chicken tasted and smelt old, there was so much fat and the taste was off. I didn’t eat it as I thought it would make me ill. The rice also smelt really old and they literally gave me the smallest portion of rice to go with a whole chicken. In this cost of living crisis getting a takeaway is a luxury so cedars will lose customers if food carries on like this. Would not recommend.
