   I never normally leave a review, but after what I’ve just eaten, I have to, the rice was hard, chips were half ok, bbq sauce was basically water, definitely won’t be going back, just a year ago the food wasn’t bad, not sure what happened.

   We ordered a takeaway last night for a salt and pepper box and noodles. It took and hour and 25 minutes to get the food and the delivery guy said it will be worth the wait but it really wasn’t. The food was awful. The whole box meal was soggy. The chips were soggy and the spring rolls were too. We are completely let down from the quality and time of the food. Won’t order here again sadly.

   I never leave bad reviews as I understand bad days are inevitable, but what we received was beyond understandable. Ordered prawn toast, lemon chicken and a Char Siu fried rice. The food arrived promptly and everything seemed fine until we took a bite into the prawn toast. The toast was sour inside and had an odd vinegar smell, I am not convinced the toast was not off. The char siu was discoloured with strong black streaks throughout the grey meat (I understand some discolouration happens during cooking, but this was not like anything I’d seen before). The rice was flavourless and the meat had an extremely odd flavour. The lemon chicken was extremely mild and watery, Overall the meal was disgusting, we ended up throwing away the food and making our own meals. Over £33 spent on the two meals and a single side, which ended up being a waste of money. I have never had food in such a state, and if I was eating in a restaurant, the plates would have been sent back and I would have disputed the bill heavily.

   We normally order from Georges often and its lovely, but tonight it was awful. Fair play to the staff they tried to sort it but the chips were anemic, we ordered 2 singapore vermicelli and they were both bland as anything, and my spring rolls were drenched in the separate chilli sauce because the lid wasn't put on properly. Really disappointed.

   It's a Chippy what more do you need know, the food is nice it must be said but I would add would suggest you do yourselves a favour and add up your bill before you get to the till... I ordered 2 items of their Asian menu and was asked what would i like with the beef dish (rice,chips or noodles..) telling the lady i was fine without, she added they were included! Ok ill have noodles... she then promptly added an extra £ to the bill.... 'so not included at all' i said thinking i hadn't noticed Oh no sorry they're a pound sarcastically and with the look of a caughtout schoolgirl..... Like i say the food is good... just be on the ball at the till (its up to you )

   A friend recommended this place and said "they often queue out of the door", a good sign of how popular the place is, and whilst they were actually queuing out of the door the queue went down really quickly and the food was great. We had a pretty big order covering various menu items and everyone of them was a hit. Will be back soon
