   The lady who greeted us and seen us to our table was lovely. The rest of the young staff we're more interested in talking to each other. After taking our order for drinks and given the menus we were left. One of our party had to go and ask if someone was going to take our order for food. We waited quite a while for the food to come to us. The food was lovely after we had eaten they came and asked us if we wanted more drinks 2 of us said yes, I asked for the dessert menu. Low and behold no dessert menu came and we we're given 3 drinks. We asked for the dessert menu again after another wait was given this. We had to ask also for the bill twice. So not good service for us at all. Even though the food was lovely like I said, I wouldn't go back there again because of the service

   I honestly love Barlounge!! Everytime I come to Chester I make sure to pay this goldmine a visit. The staff are always fanatsic in their knowledge, hospitality and general friendliness and the drinks are always incredible. Genuinely the best Old Fashioned money can buy!!!! If you come to Chester, you have to go to Barlounge.

   Always such a lovely experience at bar lounge, have been a few times over the years and I just had to review, because every time the service has been exceptional and the food delicious. Walked in on the off chance for a table Saturday afternoon, very busy but we were greeted straightaway and got a table in the restaurant. Our waitress was so lovely, asking about our day, what we were up to etc. very attentive, Prosecco glass was never left empty before she was back over to top us up. Food was so tasty, small plates are the perfect sharing size, don’t feel ripped off by the sizes like some places. It was an extra special day as I’d just been and bought my wedding dress, when we asked for the bill the waitress brought over a surprise instead, a personalised cocktail which was such a lovely detail and really made my day extra special. This isn’t the first time bar lounge have gone above and beyond, doing similar things when we’ve been for birthdays/anniversary’s etc before! So it just shows how consistent their service is.

   The girls and I came to Bar Lounge as it was recommended by our friend that lives in Chester and it was lovely. The weather was gorgeous so we were able to sit outside and the atmosphere was great. The food and wine was delicious and Nick was so friendly and welcoming, he couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be back when in Chester again, thank you!

   Visited last night after our original choice of place to eat had stopped serving food at 7:30pm so we came here, was seated straight away. Ordered 3 starters of Prawns, chicken skewers and buttermilk chicken. All of them were enjoyed though the buttermilk chicken (or the sauce it came with was quite salty ) Ordered a fillet steak and a rump steak with a side of Katsu curry fries. The steaks were very nice and tasty though I preferred the rump steak more than the fillet steak. The fries were interesting but was nothing special about them. Service was nice and was asked about our food a couple of times so overall, a nice place to eat.

   Fabulous Fantastic and excellent. We had our wedding reception here. The staff are 100% the best. The food is outstanding. I can not say enough how great the bar lounge is and how outstanding the staff are. Polite, helpful, attentive, helpful. Simply I can not rave enough about how good they were. I would give it 7 stars if I could.

   Love coming to Barlounge for good some good nibbles and cocktails with friends. This occasion were more special as it was my best friend's birthday. Even though the evening didn't start off so well with one of the unprofessional staff regarding the cooking but thankfully another colleague could rectify the issue. We got seated in the bar area and couldn't have been a better place for us. We were looked after by May who was amazing and made the occasion more special for us. She was friendly professional and very attentive, then after that we had Ben looking after us which the same he was very friendly and attentive. The service we have received by the 2 colleagues were brilliant and we would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Thank you to you both again for making the night more special for us.
