Stopped for Sunday lunch at Epirus. It feels like walking into a family taverna you’d find in a Greek town. An extensive menu on offer. We chose the 3 course menu for £20.50 ( one course is a coffee or tea). For starters we had the grilled courgette and tzatziki dip and spanakopita ( spinach and feta in filo parcels) with a dip. Good home cooking and generous portions. Warm bread rolls dusted with herbs were served. For the mains we had chicken, one with mushrooms in cream, the other with spinach feta in cream. Both served with rice and a fresh salad. Again a huge portion The waiter was efficient. It would be a great place to dine with friends or family. Excellent value.

Amazing find & there's parking at the back. Driven past loads of times and finally visited with the wife. We ate from the set memu (2 or 3 coueses) which was great value and lots of choice including vegetarian/ vegan options. The portions where generous, all freshly prepared and was very tasty, with service second to non. Our waitress Olivia was lovely and kind enough to run through the memu with us and make suggestions. There's off road parking to the rear of the restruant and an outside covered area. Give it a go, you won't regret it.

When the food’s not just disappointing — it’s dangerous. Edit. On replying to the below, the business ignored that they served dangerous badly reheated food and said I shouldn't of put it in a review. They obviously only care about reputation and not addressing the problem. Now rated 1. I love trying new places to eat, with the anticipation of finding new dishes or classic well cooked favourites. The best is finding a place I can return to time after time knowing I'll reliably be served great well cooked food by friendly staff I’d been excited about visiting for a while. It looked fresh, inviting, the menu sounded spot-on. I ordered the lamb. When it was served it looked good and smelled wonderful. I found myself muttering repeating “Please let it be hot, please let it be hot” In my experience many places sadly fail in serving adequately hot food. Even fewer use preheated plates. First bite: perfectly warm potatoes and sauce, big happy vibes and a happy heart. Then the lamb — adequately warm at first, but cold at the core after a couple of bites. Not just a let-down, a health risk. The skill and food handling safety systems clearly are not in place to stop potentially dangerous food being served. That's a hard line for me: I won’t be going back. The staff were polite, apologised, and re-sent a hotter portion. But lamb shank doesn’t hit your table that fast unless it’s prepped in advance and reheated to serve. #HonestReview #FoodSafety #LambShank #FoodieFinds #SupportLocal #NoCompromise #OutInLiverpool #wirralfood #nomadfoodquest #Nomad_Food_Quest #WorldOnAPlate #AuthenticEats #FoodExplorer #Greektaverna #Epicus

This is my top restaurant in Liverpool — a Greek place with really nice staff and reasonable prices. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been there! It’s my go-to spot whenever I want to celebrate something. I highly recommend this restaurant if you haven’t tried it yet. The meat sharing platter is one of my favourites too!

We came for a relaxing dinner because it seemed like a romantic restaurant from the photos, and had such a bad experience, the waitress were so agressive and stressed, not friendly at all (didnt even greet just a straight"what you want"), we had a table in the corner and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so stressful, everyone stressed running around, waited so long for the food, I lost my appetite and on top of that they messed up the order. Super agressive and rude waitress omg! They throw the plates at you, then I ask for an extra plate and she looked at me with attitude! Never coming back.! The food was okay cold, neither I recommend if you want a relaxing dinner and friendly people and have a good time. it's not worth it, there are better greek restaurants with better service, please hire friendly people not people that hate to be there. First time I get such a bad service in liverpool! We decided to leave the place and order the main to go and eat at home. Now that I'm reading other reviews I realize that people complained about how rude the waitress are, I didn't read those, awful! This is a place to avoid.

Been back a few times in a short space of time and always had a great experience. Laura the waitress is always helpful, friendly and ready to make great suggestions. Food is always fresh with massive portions. The early bird deal is bloody marvellous. Kids loved it and the place was family friendly! Will be returning regularly!

Came here today for my sisters birthday meal and had the chicken meatballs for starters and the mixed grill for the mains. Really nice food and the staff are lovely. Brilliant calming atmosphere.

I loved the food andcustomer service in this restaurant and I underestimated the portion size as well. The salmon was tender and tasty and the kebabs were delicious. My stomach was completely filled with the starter -chicken soup with cheesy garlicky bread, which is to die for.At the end, I had to pack all my food to take it back home.
