Pintos in Lambeth is honestly one of my favourite Portuguese restaurants. The food is absolutely extraordinary—I’ve been here several times, whether on my own, with family, or with friends, and every experience has been consistently excellent. The restaurant itself is extremely clean, including the bathrooms, which are always spotless. The customer service is outstanding: the staff are welcoming, friendly, and genuinely go out of their way to help. Even little things, like offering to charge your phone if you need it, really show how much they care about their guests. The atmosphere is another highlight. It’s calm, relaxed, and very comfortable—perfect for enjoying a meal and good conversation. Other customers are always respectful as well, which adds to the overall pleasant vibe. Pintos is not just a place to eat but a place to feel at home. Delicious food, great service, pristine cleanliness, and a peaceful atmosphere—every visit is a pleasure, and I always leave happy. Highly recommended!

The Food and drinks took to long to come out. The clams with garlic bread was good and fries was nice, the steak i ask for medium rare it came out blue but the flavour was nice.

We waited for more than an hour for our food, only to be totally disappointed. We ordered rice soup and francesiha, and the food was tasteless and salty. The rice soup was a little spicy.

I know Mr Pinto for around 30 years and as never let me down at his business. For me it is the best Portuguese place to eat in all London. Food very taste and very good portion. Strongly recommend.Seafood rice and Bacalhau(cod) Gomez de sà

An authentic place in London. You won't find places like these so easily. It feels you are transported into a small town in the Portuguese countryside. Excellent, high quality homemade food, excellent prices and huge dishes. Service is quite slow so bare in mind you have to wait for some time after you order your food. What's better than a 'maniana' rhythm to feel you escaped from the city?

Very good traditional Portuguese restaurant, it really tastes like portugal! We got the mussels in spicy sauce, clams, batatas bravas and bolo do caco with garlic, and they were all amazing and were enough for 3 people. The employees were very nice, and we will be back for sure.

Great food, giant portion and very affordable. We had the seafood rice. It take long time to prepare but was so worth it! Its recommended for 2 but could feed 3 very well. For dessert we had cream caramel and crema catalana. The former was nice, just a bit too sweet for me. The latter was amazing. They have a well varied menu with plenty of options. The service was very good as well. The girl serving us was very friendly.

Had a great meal here went in for a quick drink but stayed because of it’s genuine Portuguese ambience it reminded us of our times in the Algarve. The owner is from Madeira and made us feel very welcome I’d recommend it to anybody who wanted some genuine Portuguese cuisine at a very reasonable price
