   There are four Italian restaurants on this street, and this one is easily the best. It feels truly authentic with a spotless dining area, friendly staff, and food that’s clearly made from scratch. I kept sneaking glances into the kitchen wondering if there was a Nonna back there cooking our meals. We ordered pizza, lasagna, and focaccia, all perfectly prepared and full of amazing flavor. We were too full for dessert, but we’ll definitely be returning for the homemade tiramisu!

   I recently visited this Italian restaurant La Nostra and had such a lovely experience. The pasta was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the pizza was delicious with a great balance of toppings and a light, crispy base. Everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy Italian charm that made the evening feel special. On top of that, the service was excellent, friendly, attentive, and made us feel really well looked after. A wonderful spot for anyone who loves authentic Italian food. Highly recommended!

   ⸻ I went with my family to this Italian restaurant and we had the most amazing experience. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and full of character which made it perfect for a family meal. The food was outstanding. The Margherita pizza was one of the best I have ever had, with a light and crispy base, rich tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and fragrant basil. The pastas were cooked perfectly and full of flavour, each dish tasting authentic and made with care. The starters were also delicious, beautifully presented and a great way to begin the meal. The service was friendly and attentive which added to the overall experience. We left feeling happy and satisfied and we are already looking forward to coming back.

   If there were more stars it would be for this family run restaurant. Had landed at Stanstead and otw home, everything in the area was closed or closing at 1030. They said no problem. The specials were excellent, white/ cream with broccoli and sausages, ragu and seafood. The service was fantastic, the carafe Primitivo wine suggestion was great. The sauces and pasta was made from scratch with feelings and plenty of love and passion. 3 Adults and 1 kid - We left at midnight. Will definitely be coming back to try the wood oven fired pizzas. Will definitely be back.

   My son ( teenager) regularly visits this restaurant with his friends. He has always been talking highly about this place how they enjoy their food there. So I decided to book my son a surprise party there as well. I was very pleasantly surprised with the way the owners were helpful. I learned that it is a family business. The owners are very nice and pleasant people. The communication and arranging the details was excellent. They also advised me on food and drinks. The place is very comfortable and welcoming. I was very happy with they service. The food is lovely , freshly made in front of your eyes. My son had a fantastic time and his friends enjoyed themselves. Thank you to the owners for creating a wonderful atmosphere for my son and his friends. Thank you

   The day before london went into tier 4, I tried to book a local Italian place for the last supper pre-lockdown and luckily La Nostra had space. I googled the best Italian near me and La Nostra popped up. Despite this, we had no expectations as I hadn’t seen many photos of the food. However, this has definitely become a firm favourite now! The food was so good and the staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much, since we were being quite picky and asked to make a few changes to items on the menu (e.g my boyfriend asked for a white sauce on a tomato based special of the day and I asked for a linguine pasta on a penne amatriciana). The highlight of the whole meal was the pizza. It’s made fresh in their pizza oven located in the dining area, so you can see your pizza being made right next to you. We got the margherita as a sharer alongside our pastas (carbs 4 life) and it is definitely a steal at £8.95!

   Bledah throws a mean pizza, his wife Jenna is a wonderful hostess. We’ve been coming since they opened la Nostra for about 2 years. Must say the food and drinks are great and if we ask for something in particular we get it, the team are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this cosy restaurant any day of the week.
