   We have had a Christmas lunch here a few times and it’s always lovely! The staff are always lovely except for the older lady behind the bar who is pretty much rude to everyone. The dinner was lovely much better than any we have had in other local places. The crackers are always fab quality the tables look lovely and everything always runs really smoothly. Each course was lovely and my favourite was the turkey which is surprising because it’s usually not something i overly enjoy. Another great point is a messaged a couple of times to change the group amount and the food and nothing was to much trouble and nothing didn’t happen on the day.

   I was in a group of 24 yesterday lunchtime. Many of us had pre ordered but a few not. The tables were set ready for us, the staff attentive. The food came out quickly and the Turkey Roast dinners were excellent; attractively served and hot. The experience was lovely.

   I never normally leave reviews but felt this place deserves a glowing review. We arranged for our end of season golf presentation to be held here (24 of us) and from the minute we arrived it was so welcoming and friendly. Tina and the team have this place running brilliant and with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food and drinks were flowing. The place is a mix of young and older people but all in very high spirits.

   I used to love visiting Wallasey Village and the Lighthouse Pub. Unfortunately whilst visiting with my Grand father, we received a parking ticket. My Grand Father doesn't like to walk too far as fear of losing his balance or becoming easily tired. The parking restrictions are not clear enough or the parking fees or fines and has received a notice for £100. Shame on you GreenKing and Lighthouse management. I won't be returning.

   Nice atmosphere and fairly busy. It was a Sunday so 3 of our party had Sunday dinner I had fish, chips and mushy peas. I won the day! Fish was lovely, sunday dinners not so lovely (evidently), that was the verdict of the 3, I was fine. My wife said she would not expect to pay that price for such an inferior offering. That said, the staff were wonderfully helpful and cheery, place was clean and well cared for, plenty of big screens for sport if that's what you're looking for and dogs are allowed! Winner winner fish dinner.

   I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff at the lighthouse in particular the smaller lad with the beard for the attentive service and knowledge off the menu as my father is very fussy eater and all requests were dealt with in a very professional manner great food great pub will definitely be a frequent customer
