   Been coming to Zeera for over 7 years and have always loved it and never had a bad word to say and I don't like leaving bad reviews. I have always recommended it to family and friende but had a takeaway from there on 27.09.25 and the quality of the chicken was awful, really chewy and barely able to eat it. Ended up leaving a lot of it. I remember their chicken used to be really soft and great quality so not sure if they've changed supplier. We also rang to order the takeaway and got told someone would be with us in a minute, then just left on the phone for 3 minutes with no one getting back to us? I understand if you are busy (which it was when we went in to collect) but I would say just don't answer the phone at all then. We then hung up and rang again and were told the same thing, however, luckily the second time it was only less than a minute later they did take our order. It's always been my go to Indian but I'm not sure if I would return now based on the quality of the chicken.

   This is one of the many good Indian Restaurants/Takeaways in the local area. Saying that, Zeera is absolutley one of the best. Both takeaway and dining in, is brilliant. The takeaway is easy to order over the phone, and is always either made to a time selected by yourself, or if given a time to collect, it is near enough always ready to collect. Further to that you get a 15% discount which makes it a really good option. Dining in, is also pleasant. The staff here are always dressed smartly and are friendly. The food is always tasty, consistent and the atmosphere is nice. Zeera has been around for years, and is highly recommended.

   We came here for our anniversary last Saturday as we were in the area. Our first time visiting as we already have 2 Indian restaurants we love and visit regularly. The food was great, and the server was really helpful in answering our questions about the menu. The only thing that let this place down and the reason I am giving 4 stars is the drinks. We ordered spirits with mixers that came flat and also a small bottle of prosecco, which was served warm. When we brought this to a member of staffs attention, they suggested putting ice in the drink to solve the issue. We ordered water for the rest of our meal as the drinks were too pricey to be served at such a low standard. I say this as constructive criticism as we were here to celebrate and would have ordered more drinks and spent more money. The rest of the meal really was great, the food was on par with our regular Indian restaurants so it was a shame something that could be easily fixed let the place down.

   A very enjoyable evening dining experience. I very much enjoyed my chicken pathia and would happily have it again. My friend enjoyed their meal too. Good drinks choices too, and very nice Kulfi for dessert. Some interesting and unusual looking menu options. Atmosphere was a bit flat but it was a Monday night

   Called in for a meal with my wife in August 2021. Greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, and the restaurant was clean and nicely laid out. Menu was as you’d expect and the staff were very helpful in advising on house specials and particular flavours. I’m not a massive curry fan and so I always go for the chicken dupiaza whenever in a curry house, so I can compare exactly between venues; and this was one of the best. The meals were very tasty and a good portion size – no complaints whatsoever. Would highly recommend, and will be visiting again.
