Come with a right expectation and focus on the food which is delicious! Good portion, lamb is tenderly cooked. Reasonable price! It's in Peckham not Mayfair, if you expect service and michillen, then you may be disappointed.

We were quite disappointed by our visit but didn’t say anything at the time as we didn’t want to ruin our day. The food was lovely, and quite reasonably priced. We’re not local and popped in just because the menu looked good. But the service was dreadful, we sat for about 10-15 minutes before we were even bought menu’s, even though the restaurant was empty and I could see the front of house polishing glasses. We were never asked if we wanted drinks, and one of the dips was missing from the meze dish, although we never had the chance to say because we weren’t checked on at all once we had the food. We then stacked up our empty plates, and sat there with them for about twenty minutes, while we watched the server sat on his phone. We eventually had to wave him for the bill, had to ask for the bill as he just bought over a card machine with the amount already on it. Didn’t ask how the food was or anything other than stating the price. We then checked the bill and he’d missed one of the dishes off, we wouldn’t normally do this but we saw this as a silver lining and thought it should come out of his pocket when you tell him about his lazy poor service. So we didn’t say anything. As a chef in the industry I would be fuming to see someone treat my business like this out front, I hope he gets a word. If the service wasn’t so bad we’d recommend it, but having lazy inconsiderate service really changes everything.

I'm really upset with the service. I should be having a special diner right now but instead i was refused to be served, even that on google it says that it would be opened until 22h. I went to cinema with my husband which is located 5m walk away from this restaurant. Did a booking this afternoon to book a table for 20h30 ( even mentioned i was going to the cinema) Film delayed a bit and i arrived to the, restaurant at 20h50 ( 20m ago) just to be told that the kitchen was closed - 1h30m before restaurant closing? - when i inquired about how come i wasn't informed on the phone that my booking was just on the cut out of the kitchen closing, specially when i even mentioned i was going to cinema and was told that there wouldnt be a problem- the two people in the restaurant told me that on sundays normally closes earlier and they normally wait 15m ( so 20h45, 5 minutes before i arrived. The kitchen is opened and i could see everything seemed to be packed for way more then 5 minutes. Very unprofessional. I Used to recommend this restaurant highly because the food is great but definitly won't be coming back. Absolutely outrageous, specialy when i did a booking and was planning to have a special diner. * just to add that 30m after this i passed by and was already solid shut. According with google should still be opened another 10m.. Maybe just change your timings online so you don't spoil your client's evening.

Yada’s has to be one of the most authentic Middle Eastern restaurants in London. All the food is delicious but the mezze platter and lamb shawarma are highly recommended as you can try lots of authentic options in small quantities. Our favourites included the pistachio hummus and ghormeh sabzi. The lamb was divine and accompanied by the gorgeous fluffy saffron rice. Can’t wait to go back!

Located in Peckham is this lovely restaurant, even from down the road I could smell the food. My friends and I really liked the decor of the restaurant and the service and atmosphere was good . To share we had the pistachio hummus and baba ghanoushs , both were great but we collectively agreed that the pistachio hummus was our favourite. The Hajari bread used to dip was absolutely amazing as well, very light and fluffy and just overall a great bread. For mains my friends had the falafel mezze plate and chicken finjan, whereas I had lamb sharwarma. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our mains , lots of flavour and the rice was great but I would say that I could’ve done with a bigger portion of the lamb itself but I still enjoyed it.

had a great dinner here - nice vibe, byob, friendly staff and most importantly great food! Lamb shawarma was fantastic as was the chicken stew. Very reasonably priced too and all the mains come with a few little sides which means its a great meal

Went a few months ago with a friend. It gets busy so book a week in advance. Tremendous food and incredibly cheap for the size and taste on offer. Pistachio hummus is a must try unless you have allergies of course. it's a BYOB so make use of that

Top notch scran, beautifully cooked chicken dish packed with flavour, busy atmosphere, always heaving when I pass! Definitely worth going if in the area!

Wonderful first visit to Yadas's Green Kitchen on Peckham Rye. Delicious food served by friendly and attentive staff. I'd never had Kurdish food before and thoughly enjoyed my chicken finjan, a delightfully slow cooked chicken stew with walnut and pomegranite sause served with saffron rice. You've no doubt heard about the BYOB concept so don't expect anything other than tap water or a soft drink. A thoughly enjoyable afternoon spent on a balmy platinum jubilee Friday afternoon.

Good fresh food. Big portion size and very reasonable price. The chicken stew (Finjan) is tasty but chicken was a bit dry and the stew was a bit too salty for my personal liking. The wrap looked good and next time I will try falafel. They dont serve any drinks at all, just tap water so bring your own drinks. The waitress was very slow and inattentive however and quite awkward with her customer service really. Water started dripping from the ceiling onto my head and the staff just looked at it and left it drip everywhere didnt put a bucket or anything. This place could be better if they served beverages and if the customer service was better.
