It was our first time visiting Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold. We chose it because it was close to the Reindeer Lodge, and we were in the mood for a proper meat-focused evening. The restaurant itself is quite small, with around 20 covers, giving it a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. The team were very kind, friendly, and welcoming, and we also found the place to be kid-friendly, which made the experience even nicer. The food was very good overall—exactly what you’d expect from a smokehouse menu. My wife’s brisket was a little on the dry side, but still flavourful. I had the tomahawk, which was really nice, although I was expecting it to be a bit thicker. The kitchen was a little slow, but we weren’t in a rush, so it didn’t affect our evening. Overall, it was a good experience, and we’ll definitely be back.

Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold sooner — we’ve eaten here so many times over the years, it’s definitely our go-to place! The food is always spot on, with a great choice of dishes whether you’re in the mood for ribs, burgers, or something a bit different. The portions are generous, everything is full of flavour, and there’s a really good selection of drinks to go with it too. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent no matter how busy it gets. There’s a great atmosphere — relaxed, lively, and perfect for both casual meals and nights out with friends or family. Highly recommend Deadwood Smokehouse — it never disappoints!

We stumbled across Deadwood Smokehouse in Mold by pure chance (our original plan was Just Steak, which was closed on Friday at 2.00) and honestly, we won’t be going back there now! It turned out to be a very happy accident. The steaks and platters were absolutely delicious, with portions that were more than generous. The service was excellent, the place had a really cozy vibe, and the prices were great for the quality and quantity of food. Honestly, I only wish we lived closer so we could order takeaway from them. Would definitely go back whenever I’m in the area. Totally recommend!

We went to Mold yesterday and decided to eat at Deadwood Smokehouse. We all ordered Burger and Fries. Fair pricing for the quality of food. We all said that it was the best burger we have ever had! The waiter couldn't do enough for us and was very polite. The place is small and cozy but we liked that. We will definitely be returning.

We had a heavenly family meal at Deadwood Smokehouse, consisting of the £49 platter, burger, dirty fries, and stateside nachos. Everything was delicious and perfectly cooked. The chicken was so flavoursome and tender, but the brisket and beef rib were the standout stars. A very memorable meal complemented by warm and attentive service. Thank you for a great time, we'll definitely be back!

Set on the main road with a car park off the next side street. Not too many tables gave it a cosy feel. Polite staff and good servings of meat. The brisket, not seen on many menus in the UK, was done to perfection. A nice place to impress.

Just dropped in on a Sunday at lunch but they found us a table. Food is stunning! Started with chicken strips and burnt ends, both amazing. I had a monster burger, which came with a melt in the mouth 'slab' of slow roasted beef on, and my wife had a bacon cheese burger. Both amazing. Upgrade to the chilli cheese fries, you won't be disappointed. Staff are attentive and friendly, and drinks are ice cold. We will definitely be going back, REGULARLY!

Delicious food and loads of choice on the menu. The jumbo ribs were delicious, some of the nicest I've had. The sharing meat platter for two went down really well in our group - so much food. They offered to box up our food to take home as well.
