Service was good but food was unfortunately not there at all, the moinmoin was soaked in salt, the amala felt like water until we sent it back but they were kind enough to make another amala which was better. The price was a bit on the high side.

For authentic isi-ewu, nkwobi, ugba and stockfish...etc and other African dishes, visit here. The owner, Uncle Joe, is very nice and makes sure customers are well attended to. His prices are also very good. I will visit again for sure.

I’m hard to please when it comes to Igbo soups but Alaowerri surpassed my expectations. I ate Oha soup with poundo yam. I’ve never eaten Oha soup this good in London. Also got beef suya from here. The suya was so tasty. The food portions are huge. The guy who attended to us was warm and friendly too. I love the ambience in the restaurant as well. I’m defo revisiting.

Staff approach was so bad that the manager was screaming when I noticed and reported a dirty bathroom, which was actually smelling into the seating area. The place is not clean, fish was served burnt, price was expensive and ridiculous. I will recommend you check for other African places, which are 1 to 2 miles within.

Great food but the rest room/toilets is one of the worst I've seen in my life!!! And because of this I can never go there again nor advice anyone to go there. You guys have been around for a long time, you should know the value of cleanliness and near toilets especially in a restaurant. Completely renovate your toilets to standard please not that dirty site I saw there. Imagine coming there with other nationals to eat and they see that eyesore of a toilet.

Really great Nigerian restaurant. Space is small so plan your visit against/ahead of peak times. The food is delicious and the owner is a very nice and friendly man. The service is great and I will definitely be coming back. The isiewu in particular is amazing! Honestly, the food there is really good.
