Fantastic service, couldnt fault a thing - the food was wonderful from starter to main, recognisable dishes, elevated beautifully. Attentive staff. Delicious wine and drinks menu, with recommendations accompanying each dish. And above all amazingly reasonable pricing. Couldnt recommend enough.

Best Indian I’ve ever had! The food was to die for, I don’t know how they make simple lentils taste so incredible!! Everything we ate was amazing, we had poppadoms then scallops and chicken tikka to start, lamb shoulder and biryani for mains and a Dahl makani and it was absolutely delicious! They bought out a dessert and candle for my husband as it was his birthday and it was very sweet. Cant recommend going here enough

We booked the Diwali Celebration dinner after reading the reviews and being impressed by the celebration event they had planned, including dancing. We are not locals so it required 2.5hrs travel to get to the restaurant. We arrived hungry and excited for the cultural feast. With many awards, accolades, and high reviews we were positive that we would be in for an exceptional experience. It was not. I don’t know what happened, if it was because it was Monday night, or because the restaurant was busy, or if the chef was sick, or maybe our expectations were too high, but sadly we all left disappointed by our experience. The set menu - all of the dishes looked amazing but the serving temperature, and portion was underwhelming. Sweet potato starter - was average with a too sweet sauce. Salmon - was slightly over cooked and dry. Duck pie - had lovely spice and flavours but was only luke warm. Kofta - had lovely flavours but with only 1 ball it was small. In total during all the 5 courses we had 1/4 of a naan each (see image). By the time we came to dessert our group was still hungry so we asked to buy more food from the Ala carte menu, but they informed us it was not available due to Diwali menu. The waiter asked if we were still hungry and we said YES. Dessert - looked stunning but the popcorn was not crispy and fresh, my dounut was dry and so hard to cut with the spoon as the only utensil we were given. The Flavours of dessert missed sharpness. The dancers did a great job. Sit in the middle of the restaurant if you want to see them more. We were by the entrance and they dance mostly in the centre of the restaurant. We are frequent visitors to restaurants with Indian tasting menus (Veeraswamy, Madhu’s, etc) but this is the first time we have left a dinner still wanting more food.

We had terrific dinner at Babur last night. We were four and I was the first to arrive to a warm welcome. The food was delicious along with a very good wine list at reasonable prices. The wines were well chosen and waiter who served us was clearly both knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They even have a Saperavi from Georgia. The service was excellent, professional and very attentive. All in all a lovely evening. We had eaten at Babur many years ago and for some strange reason before last night we had never been back. This time we will certainly be back to Babur soon!

I’m not a huge fan of Indian food in general, however was here for a leaving meal for a colleague. I have to say, it was blooming good. Thoroughly enjoyed what I had and would go back again.

Lovely ambience and busy restaurant. Menu is quite limited and the dishes are not the traditional Indian dishes. Cocktails are amazing especially how they present them to you. My lamb dish was not that amazing it could of done with more spices.

Had a wonderful time over dinner. The food is really nice. The vegetarian options are a bit limited though. The ambiance is very nice. The place can get busy so reservation is highly recommended. They also have a Sunday buffet lunch which is very reasonably priced. Overall one of the best places in London for Indian cuisine.

I am a big Indian food fan but this was literally my best experience of Indian Food so far. Decoration and ambience was just right. All of the foods were outstanding with beautiful fusion touches. Their cocktails are very interesting and professionally done! My only criticism would be about the service which could be faster, kinder and more attentive.

It was my first time eating at Babur and I was not disappointed. I read the reviews before attending do I had a good idea of what to expect. As you enter the restaurant you are met with plagues and awards which is encouraging. Once seated we had poppadoms and the wsiter described all the dips sauces which was nice. I had a mojito and my husband a large Corba. He had scallops and I had 2 pieces of lamb. Main was Venison and Chicken. Overall it was a brilliant eveving and we added a Β£20.0 tip. Service and food was exceptional.

I love the Babur! I have been eating there for over twenty years especially for birthdays (I had over 30 adults and children for my recent 'significant' birthday) although it's great to just go there for an evening out. The food is just amazing and not like anywhere else. There's a great atmosphere and the staff are really lovely and always welcoming. Give the Babur a try, you'll be glad you did!!!
