DIABOLICAL business. This is the 2nd private function I have been too within 2 years here. The 1st time the food was 2 hours late, but we made the most of it and tried to support this black business. Our 2nd visit, manager cancelled the day before and shifted our party to an “alternative” venue 10 minutes away from their main space. Well, what a joke, some back room that looked like they hadn’t finished building it yet, tiny space with toilet rooms directly within the “function” room. Start time was 6:30, staff were still putting out tables and chairs and dressings at 7pm. Food was almost THREE HOURS LATE, and they didn’t serve the full dessert menu we ordered, so family members had to go to the supermarket to prop them up. Absolute disgrace of a business, there should have been a heavy discount, however we hold many functions and now we have written this business off and will ensure we share our experience with others to not hire this business. Very poor.

Lovely food, highly recommended haven’t had it in ages because I have not been in the area. Only thing I’m not happy with are the confusing opening hours, I would kindly recommend fixing that (speaking out of business experience). Would be much better if you stick to Thursday-Saturday 17:00 (or 18:00) - 23:00 (or 00:00) and Sunday as it is.

We came here for mother’s day and when I say they booked us in for 18:30 we arrived on time and my disabled mother had to stand up waiting to be seated over an hour. My mum was in agony and no one offered her a seat to sit down. Over crowded and very unorganised. They had made a table for us to sit by the door my brother had to keep getting up during eating to let people leave and enter the restaurant. Absolutely joke of a place I would not be going here again the manager should have at least not charged us full price for that atrocious service. I try to support black businesses but unfortunately this establishment let themselves down!

Outside looks like night club, inside looks OK but needs freshening up, it looks a bit cheap. The toilet has deodorant which is great in summer if you get caught in a sweat, the staff nice and polite. Was put off by an off smell which hit me as soon as I opened the door and nearly put me off ordering, but I decided to give a chance, fresh air is a must and a window or some sort of ventilation would secure this, fresh air is a must and there was none which was very off putting. The food I'm surprised to say had a hair in it which I didn't report, had a long day just wanted a chilled day and the rest of the food was mediocre. The overall presence was OK but I don't think I'd go back again.
