Yummy, very large portions of super authentic Ghanaian food.

Unfortunately I might have to stop ordering here. I usually call ahead for my order because of parking, but for some reason they never start putting my order together until I arrive. On 5 separate occasions I've ask for waakye with no shito and extra stew but the restaurant never listens and seems to add extra shito with only a tablespoon of stew, which my kid can't handle. A real shame because I really did like the place.

Food was OK but the service was not great. My food was ready a whole half our before the person I was with so by the time we were ready to eat, it was cold. The TV was too loud and the owner was not not happy when we told her to turn it down. She said we shouldn't be telling her what to do in her restaurant because in her words "it's her restaurant and she wouldn't have done it if more people were there".

I want to first say that I have been here before and the food then was really nice. I came this time, in Nov 2022 and am disappointed. There was no plantain, the blatantly dry food was clearly overcooked in the microwave (I have no issue with reheating but come on, the rice came with the outline of the container it dried out in!) There was no direct service,I couldn't see the worker at all, they were hidden behind the wall. I had to go up to the counter twice to ask for sauce (to make the food edible) and for a drink. I shouldn't have to, as a customer, wait for staff to finish watching a programme before I am served. Food is okay but this will be my last visit, which is a shame as I really like Ghanaian cuisine!

An amazing West African restaurant & bar tucked into the fabric of the hustle and bustle of Dalston Market, with warm welcoming staff and service. A rich menu of mostly Ghanaians favourite foods and delicious delicacies. Even serves a chilled bottle of club beer and other local alcoholic beverages... perfect after any long hard day in London when you just want to reminisce and remind yourself about your old life in Ghana or equally experience our beautiful hot and spicy cuisine for the first time.

My son was begging me from 2 weeks ago to get him food here so today i decided to go and buy him some today which was peanut stew and fufu keep in mind we are not africans and the gave me cold food that was in the freezer, the meat was freezer burnt and look like its spoiling and the fufu was ice cold on top of that the container the meat was in was broken all over. I was so upset and mad because i didnt want to buy my son this african food but he wanted it badly so i wasted £12 on nasty food.... i would not recommend this place
