We had a Mediterranean breakfast for two at Ooh La La Brasserie and it was amazing! Everything was so fresh and filling, and the portions were really generous. The pişi was absolutely delightful and so tasty. The service was also incredible, super friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’d recommend and can’t wait to go back!
I used to go to this place all the time when it first opened, and the food and service were always great. But when I went there today, I was really disappointed. I asked for my eggs to be well done, but they brought them out really runny. And the baked beans were not good at all - they tasted like the cheap kind. The food looks dry.The girl who served us seemed like she didn't want to be there, which made the experience even worse. I won't be going back there again
One thing I love about them is their lovely staff, they so welcoming, so smiling. Tastes of foods are so nice. Drinks are great. Overall atmosphere is beautiful specially near the window seats so calming. ✨
What a lovely little place! Gorgeous decor, spotlessly clean and such kind staff. The cappuccino tasted dreamy and the food was so full of flavour. Very reasonably priced as well. I’m so glad I found this spot!
Although I live in east London I have travelled to this restaurant twice before(both times the restaurant was near enough completely empty), the food and staff were great unfortunately family has been put off returning due to management fee changes, we attempted to book a table for 17 people however we was informed that a refundable £50 was needed to book the table which was fine, but the tactic they have implemented; that if we were not all out of the restaurant within 2.5 hours (which was later extended to 3 hours) we would be charged a non refundable £50. We never intended to stay so long anyway but the fact we was informed of this became a bit of a spoiler on the occasion. Rather than look after the customers they have, the management have become set on trying to be greedy.. none of us are Somali but love the culture and cuisine and we have now had our experience dampened and unfortunately have been put off returning to this restaurant. I explained we have a few kids with special needs who eat a lot slower but they weren’t phased. It’s a shame as I persuaded my family about this place but now none want to return due to feeling exploited for their custom. I do hope they review this aggressive tactic to making more money.
Nice cosy restaurant, great for families. Portion of food was substantial and quality was tasteful. 15-20 mins wait for food. Prayer facilities available too.
Came here yesterday evening with a few friends although wasn't sure if they were curious to try a new cuisine on their tastebuds!! Thankfully by the end of the meal my friends were eager to visit again soon with thier families. We had set meals of rosemary lamb and sliced pan fried steak with rice and masala chips. Staff are friendly and welcoming. My children's saw photos when I got home and they are also awating a visit. The food is cooked fresh therefore be prepared for a little wait. it would be nice if there was a few more starters and perhaps a children's menu which reflected the cuisine. If the children enjoy the food perhaps I will re-rate with five stars!! Watch this space!!
I went to this restaurant view times despite the distance. The staff were very helpful. The food, drinks and shakes were amazing.Keep up the good work...don't change please like the rest of Somali restaurants. Unfortunately like always everything went down hill. Had to change my review very poor service and good completely changed. Very Disappointed
The food was truly amazing 5-star food but I had to dock one star because there was a little bit of mould in the bathroom. Environment was ok the restaurant was decent. 5 star food tho, DEFINITELY A MUST. The lamb chops super tender the sauces were delicious and the bread was Fresh. Service was excellent!
