I ordered lamb shish and chips and got 4 lamb pieces for £20 and a small portion of chips for £3. I had to wait 45 minutes for my meal. The food was good but more worthy of a starter

Updated review in February 2024: Havet “was” my favorite restaurant, but that’s no longer the case. Long story short, I went there with my friends and discovered hairs in our food—ranging from 1 to 2 inches in length. When I spoke to the staff about it, he went to “investigate” and returned with a hair that was 8 to 10 inches long, claiming that’s what he pulled out and insisting that no one in the kitchen had long hair. We were left speechless, especially since we had taken pictures of the hairs in our food. I found his explanation very dishonest, which has completely turned me off from returning. I do not recommend this restaurant. In summary, the food is decent if you don't mind occasionally finding hair in it; if that's not a problem for you, then go ahead and try it. However, I found the atmosphere to be quite noisy, as we often had to raise our voices to hear each other. Five years ago (in 2019), I must say that Havet is one of my favorite restaurants! They prioritize the quality of both food and drinks, and their customer service is top-notch. You always feel welcomed as soon as you step inside, and the staff even remembers our favorite dishes and drinks, which is impressive considering I'm not a regular customer; we visit roughly six times every three months. I also love the birthday song! It’s a wonderful experience when everyone joins in to celebrate the birthday boy or girl. Overall, great vibe, offers amazing food, provides best-in-class customer service, and delivers exceptional value. I highly recommend it!

Good portions or fresh and healthy food at a fair price served by very helpful staff. I have been here a few times, without making a reservation, and been very impressed. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Authentic food from Adana / Iskenderun as served in Turkey. Coffee and Efes beer also great.

I visited this restaurant for a quick lunch on Tuesday, January 9th. The portion sizes were generous—I was already full after the starter and just a few bites of the main course. My aunt and I ordered the chicken shish, and I chose the spicy option. The hummus and bread were perfect, but my favorite, as always, was the halloumi cheese, lightly grilled to perfection. The main course was excellent too—I couldn’t finish it at the time, so I took it home and enjoyed it later! The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this authentic and welcoming restaurant.

I went here for lunch with a friend and she took me here as she highly recommended the food. I had never really experienced Turkish food before and I was definitely not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food even better. We both chose different chicken main dishes and shared the Mediterranean salad and spicy rice for sides. The price was very reasonable and atmosphere was very pleasant. Definitely check this restaurant out next time you are in Bromley.

Sadly didn't get photos of our mains, but the food was beautifully presented and as delicious to match. There are lots of choices on the menu, so could be other whelming, but I am sure whatever you pick you'll enjoy it. The staff were friendly and service wasn't slow but definitely genteel.

Fantastic food, fantastic service and fantastic value for money. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal, we selected the 5 piece combo mangal along with some starters to share and it was the perfect amount for the four of us. The meat was all beautifully cooked, in fact everything was, we really couldn’t fault it. We finished our meal with a couple deserts and had to stop my dad ordering a second Baklava as he enjoyed it so much first time round!

This is the best Turkish restaurant in Bromley and possibly London. I've been here lots of times and love it to bits. The food is very high quality and they have a wide variety of food on offer. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming but be aware it's very popular so can get very busy so booking a table is a good idea although I've only booked once, just depends on when you go. They have plenty of staff who are all knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The drinks selection of also varied and nice whether you want Turkish lager or wine. I'd always recommend this place, it's been there for years and always being successful for good reason.

Love the food here, this was my fifth time here. We had the combo meal with four different meats. Amazing. Great service from Ivan, so warm and friendly. Will return to have the wonderful food and see Ivan again.

Came for the £9.95 lunch menu which consists of a selected choice of main courses and a soft drink. I went for a diner kebab with rice and ginger beer. The portion size was great, very generous and enough to fill you up. The flavours were also great and chilli and garlic sauce were brought on the side for some extra kick should you so need it. My only gripe with the food would be that the meat was lukewarm. I would have preferred for it to be hot as the rice was. Service at the table was good and very attentive however trying to get attention when I walked in was a complete fail. Three different members of staff walked pass and ignored me. It wasn’t until I started filming on my phone (to make a reel) that someone came up to me! That wasn’t a great first impression but it could have been a one off. I would definitely go back and try some of the other dishes as it was good value for money.
