We visited this restaurant for the second time as a staff party, following strong recommendations from our team—and once again, it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions so big that we needed takeaway boxes to bring some home. The curries were especially creamy and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, making it a great place to enjoy time together. The amenities were well lit and very clean. The staff were welcoming and quick to serve, and the food arrived surprisingly fast. Honestly, we wouldn’t have minded waiting a little longer, as once the food arrived, we barely had time to chat or digest! One small suggestion for improvement: after finishing our starters, it wasn’t clear whether we should keep the same utensils. The napkins were already greasy, and there wasn’t a place to put used cutlery. It would be nice if fresh utensils were provided for the main course. Overall, this is a really great place, and returning again is definitely on the cards. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is about a 2 minute walk from Forest Gate station. My wife and I visited mid afternoon. We enjoyed our lamb and mutton dishes and found them tastey. The service was quick and efficient. The owner came to the table after the meal and asked if we enjoyed the food. He was very pleasant and was interested in what we had to say about our experience there. We had a pleasant visit.

Popped into Aromas by chance with my workmate and it was absolutely fantastic. We shared the set meal for two people and it was fresh, tasty and plentiful. The Butter Chicken curry may have been the best I've ever eaten! Thank you Aromas!

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend and his dad. Staff were amazing, food was top quality and the whole atmosphere was amazing. Aromas' presentation was some of the best I've ever seen in an Indian restaurant. And the livelihood of seeing food coming out still cooking and the small yet cozy seating area was fantastic. Ended up being one of the best places I've ever went out to and I would highly recommend!

Absolutely delicious every time. We try a new curry every order and every one we get is perfect. Super high quality, great portions and always arrives hot and well packaged. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

The best curry place in London. The chicken momos are brilliant, as is the vindaloo. Honestly everything is outstanding but you have to get the mutton rara. It's seriously delicious. Get a Gurkha beer to go with the meal, they are large and tasty. You should probably plan several visits so you can work your way through the whole menu. But always get the mutton rara.

Best chicken vindaloo of my life, the mutton rara is a standout, chicken momos so deliciously delicate & balanced in flavour that we took ages to eat them so we could savour every bite. But my god those lamb chops. Sorry Tayyabs, there’s a new king in town & I don’t mean Charles. Aromas chops are firmly number one. The staff are just bloody lovely, our waitress in particular was great fun and just a pleasure to hang out with, they serve gorkha beers and it only came to £25 a head!!! I’m overjoyed, seriously overjoyed!
