   If you are craving a Turkish takeaway, trust me when I say, Efes is the place to order and nowhere else! You can trust this place for quality with your eyes closed. I have been ordering for years and it is consistently great. I am never disappointed. I ordered my favourite lamb ribs, you get 7 chunky pieces, they were fresh, meaty, well seasoned and cooked perfectly on the grill. Served with delicious Turkish rice done as it should be, the most delicious homemade chilli sauce which I love so much ( I must say my only complaint is that they don’t give enough of it, its too small for the meal). You also get a grilled pepper and tomato, garlic sauce, lovely bread and salad. The portion is generous and served piping hot. I just love Efes. When you think Turkish food think Efes ❤️

   This specific Efes on Barking Rd is a bit smaller but still has a fair few tables. Staff were friendly upon arrival and throughout. The menu had a good variety of traditional Turkish dishes. The food was of good quality and could tell its an authentic spot. Despite this still think it’s a bit pricey esp with the 10% service charge on top. Overall definitely worth the visit at one of their many branches.

   Good Food and Good service I have been barking branch few times and never been disappointed. - Food quality fresh and good - Free basket of salad and bread - Tasty and amazing food - Servers are friendly I have noticed on my recent visit they change the menu. I used to lamb shank stew which was out of the world I wish they bring that back. Efes also have good dessert menu too. Their baklava are little pieces of heaven

   I went to the one in Canning Town, at first I thought it was a normal take away shop until I walked in. There is a mini restaurant inside and the mixed grill was amazing. Well seasoned and it was a wonderful catch up with friends after work.

   It pains me to write an average review about a Turkish Restaurant or the food as I really enjoy Turkish food. The staff were friendly and the service was great from start to finish, however the food wasn’t up to standard. I have Turkish food time to time, but this time I did not enjoy the food as much as I usually would. The food was also a little on the expensive side for me. To say the least, the food wasn’t great! It was average.
