One of our favourite places to eat. Cheap and cheerful and staff are so lovely there, we go at least once a month and helps support our local business’s! Food is just cooked to perfection and nicely presented. Definitely what I’d call a diamond in the rough ❤️
Great Chinese takeaway with the benefit of the restaurant reopening this year. Food is brilliant and delivery is quick. Eating in the restaurant again is a pleasure and a welcome change. App available to order takeaway for delivery. Ice cold lager and wines available to accompany the great food.
Really disappointing. Wrong order delivered. Sent it back. When correct order arrived was missing an item and mostly cold. Called them and was basically told first wrong order was right but had wrong receipt in it. That wasn’t true but was argued at and quite rude. Shame, as like to support local business but they can’t handle a restaurant and delivery orders judging by this experience. Other reviews seem to reflect this as well.
Have ordered takeaway from this Restaurant for some years and it has always been spot on. A recent change in management had me concerned but the food is still delicious! Having reopened ‘dining in’, we tried the a la carte all you can eat feast on a Sunday. Absolutely loved the duck pancakes, some of the best I’ve had. Everything is cooked fresh to order. The new owner is super friendly and brings the food out herself. It’s a shame the restaurant isn’t busier but hopefully if they keep up the quality food and service plus market a bit more this will change.
Ordered before christmas and same as other people my mum left a review too. They took my money, and never confirmed the order. Horrible behaviour, taking people's money and then when you try to ring phone says busy or just no answer. Avoid.
Didn't get anything! : ( ...restaurant did not confirm order or send an email, but took the money on PayPal. Walted for confirmation but gave up. Can't phone because always engaged or rings and cuts out. Was looking forward to my takeaway. : (( if you can't cope pls don't let people make orders via website. Guess I will order from somewhere else and hope the other one doesn't turn up. Not my fault if it does!!! You have lost a customer and I'm sure I won't be the only one. I ordered dinner through their website and despite receiving a reference number and taking my money, our food didn't arrive. I tried to call the restaurant for over 90 minutes but couldn't get through to anyone. If you order from this company, be aware that you may be waiting a long time. I wish I'd read the reviews of this restaurant before ordering as I dont seem to be the only person this issue has happened with.
Ordered a takeaway over the phone which we collected although they will deliver. The food was very good and we will be using them again. Although their brochure pictures shows the restaurant set up with tables and chairs it did not look like they are offering an eat in service at the present as all the tables were missing and the chairs were stacked up.
Fairly priced. Ordered a take away for home delivery. Food arrived hot. Chicken noodle dish was nice and was HUGE. The prawn balls were a disappointment. The oil was too hot and the batter was too thick. Crispy on the outside but undercooked batter inside. Inedible. The sesame prawn toast was average. Found the hygiene rating on google at 3 stars. It would be great to find a Chinese take away in the area with 5 stars.
