   Visited yesterday for dinner with no reservation ahead, I have to admin we haven't been in for ages. Table for 2 next to the window was great. We didn't have starters, had only main and salad this time around. We had mix grill and vegetarian musakka- both great. My other half have mentioned that the portion looked on the small side for the price. I was very pleased with my vegetarian option. We also had desserts - both baklava and the pistachio dessert were great, thank you. Service was quite attentive, polite and quick. I like the atmosphere, was pretty chilled. Visited again witha friend and all was great again. My friend was impressed with service and food, her first visit. If you follow me already know with me is all about the dessert- had the pistachio ice cream, and it was amazing .

   It was okay but I wouldn't be eager to go back. Food was on the whole quite plain and dry. Have had much fresher, more authentic turkish food, it's not really worth the money. The restaurant looks nice from the outside but is quite worn inside not the best atmosphere

   My husband and I enjoyed a delicious wedding anniversary lunch here today. Three courses for us both, one cocktail, one mocktail and one soft drink between us came to just over £50, which we thought was very reasonably priced. The service was excellent, the food was cooked to perfection and generously portioned and the restaurant was clean and well presented. We were the only people in the restaurant, which was a shame for the business, but we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of private dining! I would definitely recommend Üsküdar to friends/family and no doubt we will be back for a second visit soon.

   Friendly, helpful staff and delicious food, equals a good experience. Took a trip here with the family and quite impressed with some of the food on offer. The interior is cozy, and rustic and combined with the staff makes for an inviting and chilled environment. Starting with the bad, the drinks are a little on the small side and don't really match the price well and that's all. As for the food no complaints. My family tried the following starters calamari rings which where really good, fresh by the tastes of it and the batter was nice fluffy and crispy. Homous (my brother described as satisfying which paired well with the bread, which itself was delicious and made the humous even better), falafel (light and moist in the middle) and the lamb with almonds (also pretty nice). As for mains these where all really good, personally for someone like myself the portions could have been just a tad bigger, but as we came during the lunchtime and got these on offer they where worth the price tag. I myself tried the sea bass which was crispy on the outside but light and fluffy on the inside. My brother had the chicken minced kebab which was nice and you could tell it was flame grilled which gave that extra something. As for the parents I think they picked the real winner which was the lamb ribs, despite the slightly small portion was easily the tastiest thing on the table. Good seasoning and cooked just right on the grills these are what I recommend to a first time visitor. Overall a solid experience and worth dropping by.
