I needed to return some items, and according to the website, returns to a store are free, while returns via courier incur a fee. I opted for the store return. When I arrived at the store in Ashton, I expected a simple process where the cashier would scan my returned items and provide a receipt. However, when I approached the cashier and mentioned my return, she asked if I had the app. I replied no, and then she inquired whether I made the purchase online or in-store. I said online, and she asked if I used Safari. I clarified that I used the New Look website, she then asked if I had used Google, I again said no I had used the New Look website. She seemed puzzled by my answer and then asked if I had my phone. I confirmed that I did, and she instructed me to check my email and click on the return option. I was then required to select the items I was returning. Each item needed to be checked off, and I had to provide a reason for the return before I could move on to the next step. This made the process quite tedious. The cashier advised me that in the future, I should scan the QR code and use the drop box for returns in the store. I asked her what would happen if a customer didn’t have their phone, and she replied that the store wouldn’t accept the return, and the customer would need to go home to retrieve their phone to complete the return. It’s quite shocking that the employee seemed only knowledgeable about the app, as she had no understanding of the website. Before the app existed, there was the website, and it’s appalling that the cashier was unaware of it. It's also appalling that the cashier was instructed to make customers handle returns through their phones, instead of handling the returns themselves like cashiers suppose to do. New Look, like many other companies, are eliminating thehuman interaction between customers and staff, pushing customers to rely on their phones if they own one. This will be my first and last experience shopping or returning items at New Look.

Such a horrible staff at the Ashton store ...went to Ashton store around 4:30 pm and was in a rush to buy a shoes for my work bcz the store was closing at 5pm , I been ask yo put the other pairs of shoes to put it on the rack before I go nd do the payment so I put the shoes in my bag so I can put those shoes on rack and than go nd pay but the member of the staff accused me for putting the shoes in my bag and behave as I m a shop lifter !! I told her I only had a pair of hands and you told me to put those shoes on the rack first thats why I put the pair of shoes in my bag so I can put them away first and than go nd pay for my shoes but she wasn't ready to listen to me nd behave really horrible as I m a shop lifter !! I told her can you not tell the difference between shop lifter and normal people who does shopping but she just keep telling me about the shoes I have put in my bag eventhough I told her I m no way near the door or leaving without paying nd you catch me going out the store !! I m still doing shopping!! But the lady wasn't really ready to listen , I will never ever go back into new look Ashton...she was middle age , dark hair lady ....absolutely no manners !!

I bought a pair of boots online. I'm in size 4. They are miles too small. Yet says they're size 4. It says contact them via chat. I've tried. No response. It says you can contact them via messenger. I've tried. No response. I cant get out of the house to return the boots so I'm stuck with a pair of boots that arnt the size they state they are. Why is it at new look the shoes/ boots are smaller than anywhere else. I'm disgusted. Shame on you new look. I understand y the shops shut due to covid. But when you cant get out to send them back. Its disgusting. No contact number either which there should be. I'm not happy at all.. and if I do manage to swap the boots what am I meant to do go for a size 6 when I'm in 4 so they fit,??? Fuming is an understatement
