second time I get an order delivered from this place - and the food is absolutely delicious! the delivery could be better when compared to different service providers out there but "food is king" and oh boy... I am not an indian/nepalese food expert or critic nevertheless I absolutely love this food. well worth it.
Great place, called and came in last night, good atmosphere and great staff. They are always accommodating. Plenty of drinks to choose from, great menu! Nice Christmas decorations
Happy to give a 5* review for this local high street Indian/Nepalese restaurant. Service, food, decor all was of a high standard. Although announced as Nepalese I did not see any specific Nepalese dishes on the menu. Maybe I missed that but I did see South Indian though. Whenever in Eltham this is a good place to eat.
We ordered through Deliveroo and everything tasted nice and fresh not too oily like some Indian takeaways. I normally eat spicy indian food but actually preferred how I felt after this meal as the spices were mild but still flavourful.
Been here twice - the food is fantastic. Service needs to improve as it’s been poor on both occasions. Would like to see the menu professionally done as opposed to being printed on A4 paper - the food is brilliant, make the experience that little bit better. Will return.
The service is extremely slow. We were just the two of us, and also the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiting time was over an hour in total for just two items that we ordered. Food was just ordinary, nothing extraordinary. We ordered the hydrebadi Shahid chicken which is one of their signature dishes. I would not recommend this to anyone as this was very average. At the end of the meal, the server asked for feedback. When I was politely telling him I didn't quite enjoy the food, He suddenly snapped back at me and became super rude. At this point he also remarked 'He wasn't interested in talking to me'. I honestly felt very humiliated and was only giving my feedback since he asked me in the first place. Super rude staff. Will never visit again.
I went to Village Eat Inn yesterday and had a brilliant experience. We had a variety of starters, all cooked and flavoured to perfection. The mains, rice and roti were very tasty. Aman our waiter was a lovely gentleman. Can't go wrong here.
