   I went with my entire family. Food was so flavourful and amazing. I asked for the lamb chops to be medium and they were exactly that. So juicy and tender. Creamy mash was on point (not like other restaurants who advertise it as 'creamy' and never deliver). The chef on the grill yusuf did an amazing job and my 1 year old son really loved his personality. I will definitely be coming back.

   ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a great experience at Sahara Grill and wanted to give special mention to Abdur Rahman, who served us. He was very professional and, for a trainee, did an excellent job. He was attentive in a calm, subtle way, checking in on us during the meal and making sure we were comfortable without interrupting the experience. Little thoughtful touches showed his awareness and good service, which really helped us feel relaxed. Food-wise, everything was enjoyable, but the Angus short rib was a standout – absolutely a hit and easily the highlight of the meal. Overall, a very positive experience. Credit to Abdur Rahman and the team.

   We had a lovely meal at Sahara Grill in Gants Hill. The food was delicious and served quickly, so we didn’t have to wait long. Fahim provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. We ordered the Sahara steak cooked medium rare — it was tender and a real delight. My son loved it! I also enjoyed the half chicken, which was full of flavour. My other son really liked the buffalo wings. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely visit again.

   Absolutely loved our experience at Sahara Grill Ilford. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff l, who were genuinely friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with recommendations. The menu is impressively broad, offering a wide variety of options that cater to all tastes, whether you're after something hearty, spicy, grilled or mild. But hands down, the standout dishes for us were the lamb chops and lamb shank; both cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were juicy, tender, and packed with flavour, and the lamb shank was fall-off-the-bone soft and richly spiced. You can tell they’ve really mastered their grills. Service was quick and well organised, even during busy hours, and the food arrived fresh and hot. The portion sizes were generous, and everything we tried was full of flavour. A lot of reviewers mention the consistently high quality of food, and I’d agree. It's clear they maintain high standards. Highly recommend Sahara Grill Ilford for anyone looking for great food, great service, and a genuinely enjoyable dining experience.

   I went to Sahara Grill with the family for a birthday celebration. We started with buffalo wings, dynamite prawns, and prawn croquettes. As ever, the wings were top tier with the sauce tangy and spicy. The prawns were also good but came a distant second to the chicken. For mains we had a selection of burgers grill chicken chicken steak and saute beef. I would say all items were good, the saute in particular was tasty, with the other items also hitting the mark. Overall i would definitely recommend and go back again

   We opted for the Sahara Wings and full grilled chicken with chips and rice. The service was amazing and staff seemed friendly and polite. The food gets a strong 9/10. Total bill including 2 soft drinks was around £44 so again 9/10. Restaurant was clean and waiting times were 5 minutes to be seated.

   Friendly staff, food was satisfying but didn't feel like it was worth raving about. Best thing was probably the curly fries and halloumi. Not against giving it another shot but definitely not a favourite. They have porterhouse cuts which isn't very common around here, though put their own blend on flavouring it.

   Friendly staff, decent presentation, burger and chips good.. the prawn noodles lacked enough flavour/ didn't taste as good as it looked and not a fan of their grilled chicken and rice personally. I hear the steaks and chops are good however

   First time for me..went to the one in gants hill.we were seated very quickly as we didn't book.service was fast and prompt. Food was served hot.we had sauté chicken which came in a thick gravey and stake chips. The gravey was very salty .our starts were mind blowing cod bites..I could taste the coating on the fish it was so tasty never had anything like it.would recommend this place for family and friends.prices are reasonable.
