The beef steak burrito was really nice, as was the sweet potato fries. Good portion size. Soniya who served me was great, very friendly and welcoming!
I really enjoyed my visit to Firebean! The wraps were packed with flavour and the salsa sauce added the perfect kick. The food was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was served quickly. The place has a nice casual vibe too — great for a quick meal or takeaway. I’d definitely come back to try more items on the menu!
The taco shell was dry and the beef had no flavor, it was chewy and rough. The chicken tasted stale and sour like it has gone-off, there was no salad Ect, like it showed on the pictures and description. Overall the food was not worth th value we are quite disappointed.
We were served by Sonia today and can honestly say I'm really pleased we found this place. Sonia was patient while we dithered about deciding what we wanted. She then told us we would be better off ordering as a meal deal which saved us money! The food itself was delicious, very fresh and tasty. I would recommend the beef burrito bowl as a winner, the portion size was generous and I struggled to finish it. Amazing value for money.
Fire Bean is a fantastic spot for Mexican food! I ordered a burrito bowl, nachos, and spicy buffalo wings, and every bite was amazing. The burrito bowl was fresh and packed with flavor, with perfectly seasoned meat and a great balance of toppings. The nachos were crispy, loaded with cheese, and topped with just the right amount of salsa and guac. The spicy buffalo wings were crispy, juicy, and with a great kick of heat. The portions were generous, and the food tasted authentic and fresh. The service was quick and friendly, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
I have been ordering food here for number of years. I have been always been increased with the food. The staff have always been accommodating. We usually order the same thing and have never been disappointed. The nachos always have enough sauce and topping. We ask the staff to put the veggie chilli separate so the food is not soggy by the time it reaches us.
The food here is mediocre, but the service is worse. The owner cares more about his display glass than he does the customer. He kept repeating that we should not touch the displays as he'd just cleaned it, so of course we didn't do it on purpose anymore but it's right there and easy to forget. When I touched it by mistake another time, he was visibly upset and harshly told me not to do it again. Beyond that, he was just telling us how to behave, sit, etc. It was quite demeaning and rude. And all of that is merely a preface to food (and portions) that is not as great as Chipotle, despite offering halal meats. The attitude here needs to improve even more than the food. But that could improve as well!
Came here for a dinner with some family members who wanted to try Mexican food and it was Halal… There was no parking and the entrance was just okay like a typical take away and it wasn’t that busy at all. We ordered Chicken and Lamb Burritos meals. But the ingredients did not look fresh, the lamb was lamb mince (which I didn’t think it should) chicken was breast meat cut into smaller pieces. The staff preparing the food wasn’t welcoming at all, seemed like she had a bad day and a smile at the custoemr was too much to ask for. The food came for the kids who enjoyed it but I wouldn’t bring them back here again. Attached some pics for reference.
Firebean have kept the menu simple and the options traditionally typical. Without innovating much, they have a good concept and a solid delivery service. The beef and lamb are HMC-sourced, and the chicken HFA. With a 5-star hygiene rating, the place is essentially astrictly fast food restaurant. and if you stick to our menu recommendation you can't go wrong. Although there's no toilets available, takeaway is available, along with delivery via three leading companies. A lunch menu is on offer between 11am-3pm every Tue-Thur for just £5.99.
