*5/5 Stars* "I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was blown away by the incredible atmosphere! The decor was stylish and inviting, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. But what truly stole the show was the dessert menu - every bite was a delight! Rich, decadent, and expertly crafted, our treats were the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The service was also exceptional. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided top-notch service with a smile. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great dining experience!"

Was my first time visiting saffron street with family. The food was tasty and was a great vibe! My favourite was the fried ice cream that was absolutely delicious! The only criticism I have is the portion size is small compared to other restaurants for the prices. Overall was enjoyable!

The food was okay and the service was decent, but nothing really stood out. Some dishes were nice, others were just average. The atmosphere was fine, but it felt like it could be better. Overall, an alright experience, not bad, but not amazing either.

Delicious food. Masala fries where probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were nice, but a bit too oily. One negative was the attendee when I arrived within the 15 minutes holding time. I was not aware the entire group had to be there to claim the reservation (especially when one of them is arriving with a newborn baby!) and feel like it could have been communicated more nicely especially once our original table had been given away. Other than that, the service was fine.

Was craving some chaat. I’ve been to their other restaurant - Saffron Kitchen many times and I’ve always loved the chaat platter there. Since I was in the Gants Hill area however and didn’t fancy the drive to Leyton, we decided to come here instead because they do the same platter. I’ve been here several times too over the years, and whilst the food has always been consistently decent, it’s definitely never been anything to remember - just more of a nice convenient place if I’m in the area and can’t think of anywhere else to go. Anyway, I hoped the chaat platter would be just like Saffron Kitchen’s, unfortunately, it wasn’t - all the chaats were far too sweet, and the gol gappe were filled almost entirely with yogurt, which none of us enjoyed. The mains were better - nothing wow as usual, but decent with nice balanced flavours and decent portions. The Indian dishes were definitely better than the Chinese fusion options though. That said, the restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and we were seated quickly with great service throughout. The food presentation is always on point, with a bit of added theatricals for the gram if you’re into that kind of thing.

Food was great , portion size was decent , service was prompt we were still having were starters and the main course arrived. You have to wait if you are joining friends who are yet to show up. You will not be seated unless all the patrons arrive. They don’t add service charges and other miscellaneous charges in the bill. Parking is free on the road after 18:30 until 22:00.

Been on 2 occasions. Both times the food was top notch and service was brilliant. Pics are from both visits. Prices are similar to what you'd pay at another restaurants. Portions was well enough for the amount of people that came along. Definitely be back

Over hyped on social media. The service is basic where they are like robots and forget to even offer sauces. Only thing that was nice was the interior and the drinks. I've had better food in local markets for a lot less. Here you would have expected more quality in taste and service.

A restaurant that a lot of people talk about and one that is always busy. It’s easy to see why. We had a reservation for 6:30 but arrived at 6 with one additional person to the booking which they kindly accommodated (we did call ahead to ask if it was ok). The food itself is of great quality and has a love fresh taste to it. We had a lot of different dishes and were mainly pleased with them all, although the lamb chops were not to my taste. The service itself was a bit hit and miss. It was hard to get the attention of the staff and at times we were told to speak to a different staff member for our request as the person we were speaking didn’t deal with what we were asking for. It is busy so I do get why it may have been as such. If the service was better, it would easily be 5 stars from me. I will definitely return.

A classy brunch place in Ilford. Great for a wide selection of indian street food. This is a very spacious space, plenty of parking nearby (pay and display). The decor is stunning, seating in comfortable and it is a pleasure to enjoy food here. This restaurant holds over 100 people and it is surely worth a visit. It is very different to the regular street food shops, it is elegant and well thought out. These guys know what they are doing. Salim Patel
