   I have read lots of bad reviews for this place from years ago but I have been eating here for the last year and the foods great. Overall a 9/10, the egg fried rice is not great I must say. Great chowmein, salt and pepper dishes, sweet and sour dishes, all round a great restaurant and most of their dishes are amazing. Delivery time is a hit and miss, sometimes super fast, and other times when more busy they take longer than expected time, but food always arrives hot.

   Don’t use Coral Sea Chinese takeaway from Petts Wood. They overcharged me and sent the wrong food. When I called them to inform them they denied all and the chef shouted down the phone to me. Their food isn’t even that good. Just used them because of their location.

   I thought it was strange when I got an order that contained some pieces of mushy noodle but they are not in the ingredients for that item. The food was bland in flavour and mushy in texture thank goodness we didn’t eat a lot of it. Sadly enough for us both to be ill with food poisoning symptoms. We put the rest in the food bin and should have realised sooner when I emptied it the following morning it reeked. It definitely wasn’t freshly cooked I just wonder how long it had been hanging around .

   Really tasty, annoyed we didn't try this place sooner! I'm veggie so we ordered two tofu meals, the aubergine dish and noodles. Absolutely loved the aubergine it was so tasty

   BEST CHINESE TAKE AWAY EVER !!!! Never have I had such good Chinese food in my life and I’ve been having Chinese for decades. Very good prices and FANTASTIC value for money. The prawns and noodles every dish was so amazing and generally the food ALWAYS comes out piping hot and packed in good containers and even the sauce dishes they make an effort to wrap into small grease proof paper. Not to mention Tommy the owner is VERY friendly warm and kind . HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Chinese Take Away. Best in the UK !!!! Come to Petts Wood and find out for yourself !!!!

   This is the first time we ordered from Coral sea and very disappointed with the quality. Although the service was quick the food was quite bland and was lacking flavour. Even after ordered more than £30 , still had to pay £3 delivery fee + Service charge. Would not recommend!!!

   Nice quality of food and we like their veggie options which is why we choose to order from here. But they got our order wrong then tried to tell my boyfriend he ordered the wrong thing on the phone. I'm veggie and they sent a special fried rice with meat, he definitely did not order a special fried rice, I heard him order the vegetable chow mein. They then said they couldn't refund us, all they can do is take the price off our next order so we will see if that happens. So in summary, food quality and choices are good, but customer service not the best. We might go back to our old place we ordered from as we never had issues there.

   Awful smell pork buns and plain, low quality fried rice! I had to bin the whole things and cooked something else for my dinner. I've never left any bad review for any restaurant because I think people have different taste, so no judging. But I have to leave a review for this restaurant since it is too horrible!
