   I’ve tried a few other Indian restaurants in the area (on a Monday because bengal spice is closed) and although the others scream that they have won awards or have the best service even giving you a fancy tote bag for take-away but they do not compare to this restaurant. Sure they have lovely looking modern interior's but the service is impersonal and the interiors lack character and the food and service is not as good as Bengal Spice. Bengal spice is great value for whether you get take away, delivery or eat in. Their buffet on a Sunday is extremely good value as with their normal menu. I’ve tried the others and these guys come top in value, taste and service.

   We’ve been ordering from Bengal Spice for the last 6 months, and it’s consistently fantastic! The food is always delicious, with generous portions that never disappoint. Tonight, we had the chicken balti, vegetable biryani, naan bread, and a drink, and everything was perfectly cooked. As a lovely surprise, they included extra Bombay Aloo as a complimentary treat! The online ordering process is super easy, and paying cash on delivery is a convenient option. There’s a wide variety of options on the menu, so there's always something new to try. Highly recommend Bengal Spice for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian cuisine!

   The food was very “meh”. The butter chicken was as sweet as a dessert and full of what i suspect is coconut? Very bizarre to me. The rest of the food was fine, but several other dishes were very sweet to me. I have a sweet tooth, but these dishes are meant to be savory. Very weird and don’t recommend.

   Food here is amazing but the delivery is dreadful and rude. Ordered 5 times in woolwich and the food is amazing. BUT People who deliver the food are rude and have a go at you in a nasty way for everything; picking the food up 5 mins early; not answering your intercom but walking down to make it easier. DONT MATTER that you are a regular customer who pays over the odds for the food. Your delivery people are dreadful; love the food but give me a good chance to give a tip to the delivery people please. They’ve lost what it means to represent their company. Idiots

   A nice meal for a fair price. Have had a few good meals in here over the years. One dish (a new dish so understandable) wasn't up to scratch and without me even asking it was removed from the bill. Never had to wait long for service from friendly staff, glass never empty for long and toilets clean too, alas they are up a handful of steps though so not great for my mother who has mobility issues. Restaurant is just over a dozen paces from the bus stop so no one needed to drive, great for those who want to enjoy a few drinks with their meal.

   After waiting an hour extra from the expected time for my food to arrive and two phone calls the guy on the other end had to audacity to say the food will be hot. The driver claimed the food was hot because it's " in a box" I touched the bag and seemed warm thats the reason why i accepted, only to come back inside to dish it up stone cold. Absolutely ridiculous. Didn't even bother eating it. What a waste of money and food. I would avoid this place completely.

   Friendly staff. Good service. Food was average. Less salt. And not spicy enough for Indian food. No ramp for buggy or wheelchair access. Staff was ever willing to help lift the buggy above the steps.
