Attended 18th birthday party for friend's son at Tabla. The atmosphere is as loud as a party should be. There was Punjabi dhol as well. Food service is really fast and taste is authentic. Will recommend it for sure.
First of all there's no parking in this premises , so the guests have to park in a nearby car park. Other than that it's spacious enough to hold a small function, service is okay. Not sure why the service staff look grumpy. They don't even smile when you thank them. I guess the management needs to look into this matter. Because I find that ruining the mood. Food was good, especially the fish starter. I think almost all the guests in the function I attended liked it. Toilets have seen its better days. If these above issues are sorted then it would become an even better place to celebrate a small group function...
Not good restaurant . Went with friends group we called before but they didn’t mention about any party there, while there was actually private too loud noise and don’t because of them what else we did not get good food service. Why they mix party and private customers? We did not get tissues and water or salad which we really ordered just ate food and paid bill . Waited long staff was taking too much time even manager was not supportive after telling them they acted like they don’t care. At the end not going again for worst experience
Worst experience ever. Went on 24th with a group of 5 friends. They staff don't have that manner to give water first. We asked for salad and it comes at the end of meal. We were literally looking at staff for help no one even mark that what else. It was staff mistakes the he accepted it infront of manager. And manager also , he hase to make sure by working in restro field no one is crazy after restro name customer cares about service and then food. Food was good but service was worst. We got table just like normal furniture no tissue no any cloth on table. Very disappointed
If I could give no stars I would! We made a booking for my husband’s 50th on 26th November. Told us they didn’t need deposit until closer to the time & the booking was fine. Had a phone call from Nihal just now telling us our booking is cancelled, because they took another booking & decided to cancel ours. We have family flying in from abroad & he found it all very amusing. He laughed at me, refused to give me his superior’s name & then hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting service!!!!
They catered for my brothers wedding and now we have sat in for my auntys birthday; food and service is top! Great Indian Punjabi restaurant.
Food wasn't bad but lights were turned off whilst we were eating as they've had a private Birthday party not mentioning the loud music.
