Arayna Restaurant in Barking is an excellent spot for anyone who loves authentic BBQ and South Asian dishes. The food is full of flavour — perfectly grilled, well-seasoned, and served fresh. The restaurant itself is quite big, spacious, and comfortable, making it ideal for families and group dinners. The service is friendly and welcoming too. Definitely one of the best places in Barking for delicious desi food! Highly recommended.

We had a lovely experience at Ariana for our kids’ birthday celebration! The staff—Simran, Elibah, and Dilwaiz—were friendly and accommodating, and our table was ready when we arrived with our little ones. The food was delicious – everything from the main dishes to the green tea was excellent. We also brought a cake, and the team helped make the birthday surprise really special with the music and presentation. The kids (and adults!) loved it, and it made the celebration so memorable. we had a wonderful time, and I’d highly recommend Ariana for family gatherings and special celebrations.

Ariana Restau Ariana Restaurant on Longbridge Road in Barking is a hidden gem that truly delivers on all fronts – from excellent food quality to warm hospitality. I’ve visited several times now, and every experience has been consistently satisfying. The food here is fresh, flavorful, and cooked with care. The salads and starters are a perfect way to begin – fresh ingredients, nicely seasoned, and full of vibrant flavors. The chicken and lamb koobideh platters are absolutely outstanding. The meats are juicy, tender, and beautifully grilled with that signature Afghan smoky flavor, served alongside fragrant rice, fresh naan, and a generous helping of salad. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or in a group, you’ll get fantastic value for your money. The staff are active, friendly, and attentive, always making sure you’re comfortable and have everything you need. Service is quick, and they’re more than happy to make suggestions if you’re new to the cuisine. One of the highlights for me is their tea – both the mint tea and cinnamon tea are served traditionally and make for the perfect end to a hearty meal. They’re fragrant, warming, and really round off the dining experience beautifully. The restaurant is clean, family-friendly, and has a relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to sit back and enjoy your meal without any rush. If you’re in the Barking area and looking for authentic Afghan cuisine, Ariana is a must-visit. Great food, great service, and great value – I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

We order from here many times, but the service become awful, delivery time is about 1 hr and 40 min, which means the food is aways cold and bread becomes soggy. So the food is no longer warm or fresh, after sitting in a container for an hour. I'm afraid I will have to try other afghan restaurants going forward.

Food was ok, very quiet for a friday night. Not the best atmosphere for a dining evening. Food was ok, bland and not much taste to it. The fresh pomegranate juice not so great, tangy. The drinks, were tiny. 200ml coke for £3? Not even a can size.

Horrible distasteful food. First we ordered 1 kg of lamb karahi but was served less than half kilo. When we raised this issue, the waitress did not respond. Secondly they don't know to cook karahi or Qabuli Palau. It's not Karahi, rather simple lamb curry and just throwing lots of raisin and boiled carrot and one boiled lamb shank does not make it Qabuli Palau. Worse food...big rip off

Flavourful and hearty persian food, perfect persian sauces, with plentiful portions, and a warm ethnic ambiance. Love it!
