   Ordered a mixed grill, payed £19.75 to receive just two uncooked lamb shop and 6 chicken wings. They called me asking if it's ok to send chicken wings instead of chicken kebab But send just an extra wings and no lamb kebab. Tried to call them but the landline is not working. Very dispointed.

   Having seen a good overall rating here, I was encouraged to try out the food here. I ordered, via Uber, for delivery. I put in an order for a grilled peri chicken wrap with some peri fries and a drink. Strangely, the order took a considerable amount of time. I contacted the driver responsible for the delivery after I was getting concerned how long the order was taking to arrive. 45mins had passed and the tracker showed the driver in a random area nowhere near the shop. The driver hadn’t moved towards to the shop at all since being assigned. The driver refused to answer my calls and even cut me off each time I tried to. I messaged and the driver claimed there was an error on the map and that they were on their way to deliver. 1.5 hours had elapsed and there was still no sign of the driver. After multiple messages of queries, the driver simply stopped responding. The order couldn’t be cancelled as it was in process and officially assigned to a driver who had gone AWOL. Suddenly, after almost 2 hours, a new driver was assigned and seemed to have collected the order and was on their way. The food was finally delivered, the new driver apologised and mentioned that they did not know what happened with the previous driver. So, finally, on to the food. Well, after working up a huge appetite by this point, one would hope this was going to be worth it. However, once I opened up the box, it did not look promising. This meal cost approx. £13. The size of the wrap was quite small and certainly looking terrible in the face of its fast-food competitors. The portion of the chips also tiny - see images. The taste of the chicken wrap was not bad, was flavoured fine although not as tender as it could have been. The chips were terrible. Undercooked, soggy with no flavour at all. Not to mention they weren’t peri fries, just regular fries - so they got the order partially wrong too. Now you could say that, quality of food aside, it was not Grill House’s with the delivery. However, delving deeper in to the reviews there is an recurring theme where customers have had to wait an extremely long time before getting their food, facing similar issues with Uber drivers. There’s something clearly not quite right with this establishment. The portion of the food, and the quality of it simply does not match up to £13(!). There are a plethora of fast food places in the vicinity alone that can give you a good meal that is value for money. I have had poor food experiences previously, but I am always reluctant to not recommend a place as it may just have been my experience alone. However, on this occasion, referring to the negative reviews and similar issues faced I would recommend customers to think well before ordering from here. Not just delivery issues alone but food quality, portion and value-for-money as well. On the whole, a really terrible experience and, unless there are drastic changes to the service and food quality, I certainly don’t see myself ordering here again. I do hope they treat the negative reviews seriously and make drastic changes to their setup. Also, a lesson to myself to delve a little deeper into the reviews rather than taking it at face value.

   Only been there twice so far but they have not let me down. Amazing value and great quality grilled food. As someone who prefers grilled food over fried this place is perfect. All food tastes great and what’s better is you can buy a lot with your money and keep coming back.

   Good portions for kebabs which were delicious. We ordered popcorn chicken as well which tasted nice but in our opinion the portion was a bit small. Great overall and will be eating from here again!
