   We visited Haweli when it first opened and were really impressed by their breakfast offerings, especially the nihari. It was so flavorful and memorable that we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, this time the overall quality did not live up to our previous experience. The nihari was missing the ginger and fried onions that had added so much depth and balance before. Without them, the dish felt incomplete and lacked the same comforting richness we had enjoyed. Overall, we left feeling underwhelmed and a bit disappointed, as we had been hoping for the same great experience as before.

   Our Pakistani friend took us to Haweli restaurant in Ilford for dinner. We had lamb and chicken curry, lamb biryani, various kebabs, it was delicious, and our first time having Pakistani food, we all loved it. Sumbul provided excellent service. She was very polite and hospitable.

   Great service, all the waiters were very attentive. Big portions and all of the food was very tasty. On the spicy side so ask for mild if you don’t enjoy spice. Nice family restaurant.

   We visited as a group of 6 and experienced excellent service and food. I was impressed by the quality of the food. Tried the Lamb and Chicken Biryani, Lamb was better in terms of spice. Garlic Chilli chicken was fantastic as was the mixed grill. The Manager was helpful and offered great service too.
