   Brought my partner here for her birthday in October as we hadn’t been for a while and it was absolutely spot on. The garlic bread was perfect for sharing and the main courses were sublime! The waitresses and waiters were very attentive and made sure we had a great experience, would 100% recommend.

   Momento in Barnsley is an absolute gem! I had a fantastic main course of grilled chicken with creamy mushroom sauce and juicy garlic prawns rich, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The chunky potato wedges were crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and clearly homemade. Dessert was next level a rich, warm chocolate cake, paired with smooth vanilla ice cream. Pure indulgence and absolutely delicious. The service was spot on attentive, kind, and professional throughout.    Visited as a family of four, two adults two kids, while staying in the nearby Premier Inn. Food was outstanding, garlic bread, lasagne, pizza. All superb. Service was great, couldn’t fault anything. Kids Pizza was huge for our 4yr old but we had no issues finishing the two slices he couldn’t manage.

   Dodgy guys. Employed me to do a job turned up on specified time/date and got turned away for no fault of my own. Waitress Jessica seems like nasty piece of work... Still not been paid and this happened months ago. Avoid

   Has changed management and name. Not as good as one momento. Service very slow and unorganized. Some people had finished eating when others where just getting their food. Starter plates not moved off the table before mains were served. We were asked if we wanted sweet before we had finished our mains, due to half the table had finished.

   One of the best places you can go in barnsley. Perfect for a pint in the sun on a summers day and incredible food too. Amazing service, amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Fresh produce, some of the best staff you could ask for and fab service. One of Barnsley's best kept secrets for sure.
