   Really tasty Turkish restaurant, staff friendly and helpful. Dips were spot on, had the mixed grill and it was delicious. Only downside was the long seating area by the mirror could do with being reupholstered.

   I have been getting deliveries from Lara for some time and the food has been superb. If the food is that good after being delivered 15-20mins later imagine how good it will be dining in. So we decided to dine in and wow, what a great experience. There were five of us, parents, teen, child and toddler. The restaurant team made us feel welcome immediately. The gent received us (Mehmet) was a lovely person. The waiting staff also superb who made the entire experience very lovely. The food is outstanding. Fresh bread made in house, pide and lachmachun. All the dishes seasoned and cooked to perfection. As crazy as this sounds the shepherd salad which was prepared for us, was one of my highlights. Their doner tastes better and different to a general kebab house, also their rice they serve is lovely. Not your easy cook rice, lovely long grain, buttery and with vermicelli. It’s the simple stuff done right and better that makes all their dishes. Prices are reasonable for good quality. In this area you may not expect such quality, but it’s better to pay a little extra to get such good quality. Found my new favourite Turkish

   Great food, great atmosphere. Staff are nice and attentive. The owner comes around and makes sure everyone is happy and satisfied with their meal. Been visiting here since they first opened. We're glad they have extended the dining area. The quality of service and food is top notch, hasn't changed throughout the years, only the prices have gone up since. But overall, it is a highly recommended Mediterranean restaurant in Dagenham. Very happy to support local businesses such as this one.

   Lovely restaurant with lots of eating in space. The seating areas were generous and not cramped like other Turkish restaurants. Car park is available at the side. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered drinks and a main dish each. I ordered a mixed grill dish and my colleague a grill chop meal. Drinks came quickly served with sauces and bread. I felt bread amount was a bit limited but that was good because it meant we were able to fully complete the mains. Mains arrive soon after fresh, hot and beautifully presented. The meat was very tasty, well seasoned and not not dry or overcooked. I have been to many Turkish places but this one the meat was so tender, soft and delicious with the sauce. Price for each meal was very reasonable. A great evening and a place I will revisited to eat again.

   If you've gone through my other reviews, you'll know that I love grilled meat. Lara gill's food was great - it tasted a bit too clean compared with other kebabs... perhaps the meat was fresher. Like the food, the staff were great and we will definitely go back

   This restaurant is a local gem, good value for money, fantastic decor and atmosphere. There's a good selection on the menu and something for everyone. My only criticisms are that the menu had options only for meat eaters and vegetarians. There was nothing highlighted for vegans. I was able to identify from the vegetarian meals and starters which one's would be suitable for me, but there was nothing for me when it came to desserts. When I asked one of the waitresses about if there was any dessert suitable for my vegan diet, she didn't seem to understand what it meant. At least I was able to get a starter and main that tasted delicious. One of my party ordered a dessert that turned out to look nothing like the photo on the menu. The explanation was that they had changed supplier. It would have been helpful to know that was the case before ordering. Having said that, they did take it away and didn't charge is for it. The other thing I always like when dining with people is that our food arrives at the same time. This was not the case at this restaurant. Staff were attentive, courteous and helpful. At one point, a few senior looking men went around to all the diners to check if everything was okay. I really liked that as it made us feel they genuinely care. I would like at least one vegan option on the dessert menu before I return again, but overall, it was a good experience and I highly recommend in. Well done Lara Grill!

   Being one of the only Turkish places in Dagenham - I had to visit. It quickly became the usual spot for my family and I when we had the time. The food is always amazing, clean interior. The staff are always friendly and nice. Deffo would recommend.
