I was so looking forward to my new African find with a relatable cuisine. Took it home and it was nice and hot. When I got home, sat down to eat, I was impressed by the fish and its portion. When I tucked in, I found it to be very bland. I also the. Realised that it had been cooked in LoSalt which gave it a revolting taste. I opened the sukamawiki and it looked revolting and tasteless. I had bought quite a large order to last me a few days but I can tell you itβs all going into the bin. Ps I have Kenyan food from a lady in Luton and her food is divine. The tripe was swimming in oil and just undercooked. It looked revolting. The so called vegetable sauce was revolting, could not even bear to look at it.

Delicious African food and beer. The prices are decent as well. I recommend going on a Friday night, it can get really busy as well so parking can be a bit difficult if you are driving. Canβt wait to go there again

The tilapia was huge and absolutely delicious. We also had a matoke dish with meat and spinach. We had to wait a while but that's because it's cooked fresh. Really friendly staff. We went during the quiet period - midweek afternoon, but I can just imagine how lively this place gets at the weekend. Would like to visit again and try some other dishes.

The food was nice but the tilapia was 21 pounds....the service was really nice from the lady but you can't buy kuku choma without chips and salad even if you ask for something else which really didn't make sense. The food was good but it's quite dear if you really know the pricing of the dishes. The nyama choma was so hard and fatty too.

I had been meaning to visit for a long time and finally got the chance last weekend. I haven't had nyama choma since visiting Kenya and Tanzania before covid, and had high expectations. Unfortunately the meat was very dry and tough. Ugali and other dishes were fine though. I would try other dishes if I go next time. Atmosphere was 100% great, feel like being in Africa everyone was friendly and footie was on the telly!

This was the second time I visited this place We came for the New Year's Eve this time. We had some great food, I loved the fried tilapia. The party was brilliant too, great music, nice atmosphere, everyone was friendly. Nobody bothered anyone. Really great, chilled place. I will certainly visit again

I didn't come here for a meal so can't say anything about it. I came here for the night club experience. Same as previous visits. The music is good and the DJs are great. The crowd is always buzzing and maybe sometimes a little too crowded but it's great atmosphere. The only thing is the crowd is very diverse. The punters are usually from all over Africa so the DJs always try to play music to appeal to everyone no matter which African country they're from in addition to some western 90s music or other western oldies. So if you're looking for strictly afrobeats to groove to, Thatched house may not be the place for you. Other than that,it's great place to go night clubbing. There's parking on site until it's full then there's parking on nearby surroundings. I think entry is free till 12am. Gotta double check that one.
