   We had a wonderful experience during our visit. Teja was our server and she was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Nayeem, the chef, prepared a fantastic döner kebab – perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of flavor. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into the food here. Overall, great service, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended!

   My experience with Teju and nayeem at Barkingside GDK was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, Teju’s warm attitude and genuine friendliness made the visit feel welcoming.    A doner box done right! My Deliveroo order arrived quickly and still hot, which was a great start. I went for the chips doner with cheese, and the beef stood out – tender, flavoursome, and not greasy at all. The melted cheese and sauces tied everything together perfectly, making it a satisfying and well-balanced meal.

   A bit expensive but really like the service. The girls that work at the till are amazing and friendly. Shame junior döner kebab is not on offer any more, but the portion is big and toasty. Recommended this location and brunch especially. Ring Go parking nearby so convenient location.

   They charged extra to serve the salad and sauce seperate from the meat and bread... you can guess why they've got a bad review. They can't follow the one simple instruction which they charged me for. Not only that, the kebab just isn't very good with horribly dry meat and soggy bread. I honestly regret trying this place and not just crossing the road to the proper kebab shop! Seriously, cross the road and spend the extra pound on a decent kebab, don't waste your money here!

   Nice and Clean Environment with good customer service, but both order quantity are extremely less and other order with pita bread with horrible test and color and not properly cooked - SAD-. Quantity of mix Doner is look like less than 40gram, both filled with salad to look heavy, but shockingly that's my worst experience with this branch, I am used to with JK when started in East London. Long time customer. It is look like main company management is not maintaining standard of quality quantity, as compare to KFC 17 pound bucked, this order is not even close to it. JK is going to open branches in USA, I don't think this type of quantity will work. What a waste of money and time. Definitely I avoid to visit that kind of experience.

   Sub-par or sublime experience. GDK is a great brand but not all branches have the same top selling quality. I don't know either this branch does not have a manager working on that day or the branch just lacks a team leader/supervisor or manager. When we entered, there was one table that was free, but the table was dirty, left by previous customers. I don't know how long that was like that, and I know it is not busy for a staff to clean the table, but it doesn't look nice. We had to get a staff to clean the table for us, which was good. I used the machine to order my food but unfortunately I made a mistake ordering two, the system needs to be more simple, I don't know why they complicated ordering food from previous or other GDK's. One of my group went to the till to order her food, and I was surprised our food came rather quickly. Of course they served our drinks first which was fast and good. I ordered the need coco and Kiki, and I was disappointed. The way the kebab was wrapped felt like it was sitting there for ages or someone didn't wanted it. Because I ordered two, the first came wrapped and the second came opened which got me confused. One of my team asked the lady bringing our food why her portion does not contain chips, but the staff answered her rudely. In fact the way they served our food was so weird. One of my team ordered a box kebab, and another ordered the original gdk kebab with chips. But they brought over the box kebab with chips, and the staff said the chips is for the person with original gdk kebab. It was weird and stupid. Why would you out someone's chips with another meal, bring it to the table and say that chips is actually for the other person??? Also my partner who also ordered a coco Kiki had hair inside her food. I took the tray with the food and hair to the counter and told the person serving at the till. She didn't even acknowledge or apologise, she just immediately turned to one of the chefs whispering, and she turned back to me telling me they will serve me a new one. I was unhappy with this, no apology or nothing. In terms if the taste for the coco and Kiki, nothing special. Because the food wasn't hot enough, I couldn't appreciate its taste. Also I wasn't happy with the size portion of the coco Kiki, as it is EXTREMELY small in size. It was a mistake I ordered 2 portion, but I was glad I did. Also I don't know why almost all the GDK I've been to, why is their food always lukewarm temperature? I am getting fed up of going to a gdk, ordering food and receiving lukewarm or cold food and going back to reorder a hot food! This is rather a small branch, they have quite a few seats to accommodate almost I believe 30 people inside. There is one toilet for disabled which anyone can use, and condition was clean. The whole branch itself was tidy, which is good as it is new to me. I don't know when this branch was opened but it seriously needs staff retraining to top notch. You can't just employ people to do a simple job and earn money. GDK needs to live up to the standard of not just the taste but the customer service! They also need to evaluate their food temperatures as they are always lukewarm or cold. The opening and closing time needs to be displayed correctly. It was weekday and as we were eating, they already started mopping and clearing at 22:30pm, instead of closing at 23:00pm. I can see that this shop have lazy staffs with zero customer service experience. They planned to clean the whole shop so that they close everything at exactly 23:00pm s that everyone can go home exactly 23:00 or 23:10pm. It should be closing the till and shutter at 23:00pm, then cleaning and everyone going home after job is done! I would give this particular restaurant a 2 out if 5, but because one of the staff managed to identify us in the street and inform that we left our property in the shop; this was why I gave 1 extra star.

   If you want to have a doner kebab in deferent styles then try German Doner Kebab, what can I say , it’s tasty, delicious, meat is well cooked , I must say that I love their sauces, mostly serviced by Imran a very polite person.
