Purchased a packaged meal for four people, but easily feed five. All items were quite nice and good, high quality and fairly well priced. I would be a returning customer. There is evidence their clientele are very much returning week-on-week.
I have ordered from this place twice and will never order again, first order was over an hour late, they do not seem to want to use couriers from the typical firms and do it all in house, leading to my frustrations with... Second order - Unable to track order as per norm, waiting an hour and 30 mins (late again) , called the restaurant and they said it had been delivered!, challenged this and they called their courier, he delivered to the wrong address. They need delivery verification! we sought a refund and this is pending, but what a hassle for something so simple that other restaurants easily get right! This restaurant has lost my confidence, I will never order from them again.
I’m a sucker for punishment and used on more than on occasion as it’s local. Food often arrives quicker than it should, chips taste re heated and dry, crispy chill beef is very nice to be fair. Ordered pick up whilst local council was running an inspection and overheard they’re allergen matrix hasn’t been updated in a while. Rarely see any adults working the front counter, it’s usually kids. Would not recommend unfortunately.
Turned up to pick up my order at the specified time, it hadn’t even been started and had to wait 30 minutes. Unprofessional. They have their children behind the counter and serving/answering the phone…not to mention the teenage daughter is extremely rude to customers. Son is coughing behind the counter without covering his mouth. An absolute shambles

Food poisoning! Sharing this review while sitting on the toilet to warn future customers. This is the first time ordering from this place. I ordered a simple sweet & sour chicken Beijing style with rice. This was ordered around 10.30pm so it would have been one of their last orders. But that’s no excuse. I’m always careful when eating at restaurants or ordering takeaways, usually checking reviews and ratings and always making sure I wash my hands thoroughly before handling food. My kitchen cutlery washed properly etc. so it definitely was not that. Within just a few hours of sleeping, I woke up and nearly didn’t make it to the toilet. The food had gone right through me. Prior to this meal, I had not eaten in over 10 hours. I’ve had food poisoning before and this is it! I’ve checked to see that there have been reports of food poisoning by other customers. A hygiene rating of 3 out of 5… I should have known. I will not be ordering from here again. I’ll be honest, if I was physically able to provide a stool sample to my GP, I would. I may report this anyway, in order to prevent other people from being ill like I am. Will be spending the next 24 hours in the toilet while sipping water slowly.
Our favourite chinese takeaway. Always arrives quickly, always hot and delicious. Lady on the phone is always pleasant
So tried this takeaway for first time not impressed & wont be using again if this is standard in albany park then enjoy ! Chow mein was dry prawn kung po had far to much veg no cashews & no flavour & no heat also chicken balls far to much batter & little chicken in short poor & waste money !!!! We will use our usual reliable place in pickford lane !
