Service was absolutely terrible. It took over an hour for our order to arrive. At first we were told that the turnover time would be about 20 mins. All our meals came out at different intervals. As one person’s food had arrived, the rest of us are here waiting for the rest of the food to come. At one point they even forgot what we ordered. We had to constantly remind them that this is what we ordered. First time dining here and I definitely would not be returning here. Customer service was abysmal all round.

I ordered some egusie and chicken in red stew with pounded yam to take away. It was the worst african meal i have ever tasted and ended up throwing away the food as could not eat it. The egusie was a joke, no visible melon seed just a sweet watery mess with bits of hard green stuff inside. The chicken was boiled and a little runny red sauce put over and the pounded yam was so stiff it just put me right off. I will not be buying food there again and unfortunately because it wss takeaway i could not return it after getting all the way home.

Forget about asking for help or extra service. Bottled water without cup to drink it from. It's a joke asking for a takeaway box to take home your left over. They will ignore you until you give up. Fun atmosphere but will definitely not recommend or come back. I support black business but in this case NO.

I was in charge of organising a meal for my group and after a fair bit of research and deliberatation, we chose Whitehart Restaurant. 22 of us spent time at the restaurant and we had a great time. The staff were accommodating and helpful - they rearranged the space to accommodate our group size and ensured we all sat together. They kept reassuring us that everything will be fine for the evening and they delivered. The menu was available via the QR code - we got a hang of it eventually. Despite being a large group, we were able to order all our meals online. The starters were scrumptious, we almost overdid it. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their main meals. The portions were sizeable and arrived on time. Every meal was fresh, hot and delicious. The staff were attentive, respectful, accommodating and ensured we enjoyed our time there. To top it up, the resident DJ was delivering some great tunes which we couldn't resist. We will be back!!!!

Lovely place located across from Riverside Shopping Centre. Nicely decorated. Staff was pleasant and the food was okay. Great place for dining inside and perhaps a dinner date.

First time visiting. I had a great time. Went for a friends birthday and the vibes was good. Restaurant was packed and I believe they were hosting a birthday downstairs also. Ordered food and drink from their QR code which was easy. Food took a while to come but this was to be expected given the amount of people there. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Food was nice and tasty. Along with my main meal, I also ordered asun and suya..good sized portions for the table, just enough spice as well. Will definitely be coming back

What can I say! Food is delicious but the waiting time takes forever . It took us an hour to be seated. Another hour for food to be brought to us . That is why I am giving 3 stars . For food I would say 4 stars . They should hire more servers !

The starters - Asun and Suya were delicious and on point. The fish and fried yam and plantain were ok, but the sauce had an overpowering raw gingery taste to it - wasn't too nice. On the day we visited, there was a separate party downstairs - the music was so loud, we couldn't hear the music in the restaurant itself - both sounds clashed, spoiled the enjoyment of the food. The front door opens straight onto the street, so cold air straight into the restaurant. If we visit again, would ask to somewhere else or maybe just do a takeaway. No direct parking, so be prepared to walk a bit.

Came here with a friend. Waited a while for us to be seated. The food was okay. Nothing special. I had jollof rice, chicken, plantain and salad. The jollof was okay. The chicken wasn’t fully cooked or seasoned well. Didn’t like the plantain. Tasted bland and dry. The salad wasn’t prepared well at all. It was bought from a supermarket and then they added mayonnaise on it. I really liked the suya and Chapman I had. I loved the vibe, there was a live dj playing some good bangers. I don’t think I’d come here again for food, maybe for drinks and music.
