Went there this Sunday and it was closed even the shop top board of desi kitchen was removed. Don't know if they are still operating as they didn't pick our call either.
The food took over an hour to come and all came separately. Ended up going cold by the time I got my food and had to remind them of my order many times before they gave it. Overpriced and bad service
A brilliant, warm and family friendly place to eat. All the food is home cooked and very tasty. Would recommend and will surely be visiting on a regular.
I tried ras malai. It’s best in the town. And I grab it quite often on my way back to home to satisfy the cravings of my sweet tooth

Just a clean front glass counter with various dishes, which appear to be homemade and authentic, also an open kitchen I ordered through the togoodtogo app and got a good deal. Yes the food is microwaved, however I don't see a major issue with that. It tasted better than most, if not all takeaway indian food iv had Definitely worth a visit

I recieved a Bombay aloo and chicken Biryani from this place via an offer from "too good to go". The order was put together with care, well wrapped and clean. The flavour itself was incredible. This place is a hidden gem amongst a lot of bland generic curry shops. There were whole spices in the food so you could really taste the complexity of each ingredient from the ginger, peppercorns, and chilis. I would definitely order again from this place to try the other items on their menu. If you like authentic non commercialised Indian, then I would recommend checking this place out
Excellent food. Really great samosa and currys. The wraps are great too. Highly recommend the food. Family run makes all the difference. And great service AAA RATING
The BEST curry I have ever eaten absolutely phenomenal. Its family run and has a lovely feel with amazing out of this world food. What more could I ask for?
Home cooked curry that's not swimming in ghee or salt, sure the menu is limited and portions could be a little bigger, but everyone has to start somewhere, have tried most others in Romford and they can't compete with the taste of Desi kitchen..
