Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The service was friendly, fast & delicious. The Tom yum soup had to be my fave 10/10

We ordered from this restaurant via just eat this evening purely because of the star rating. We have never used this restaurant before. We spent over £40 for 2 people and we were extremely disappointed. The pad Thai was flavourless, lacking in quality ingredients and over cooked. The curry was watery, again, lacking in flavour and hardly any meat. The won tons were horrendous! Burnt and extremely crispy, hardly any filling and lacking in any flavour at all. Whilst I tried to complain using the just eat app, my partner phoned the restaurant and explained what was wrong with our food order. The man on the phone apologised and said when we order next time he might be able to give us some extra food or a slight discount. My partner told him that was not good enough and asked for a full refund, suggesting the driver to come to our house and take the food back. Again, the man apologised but offered no solution to our complaint. We only used this restaurant because of the star rating. To have a takeaway on a Friday night is a treat for both of us after working hard all week. We feel like we’ve just thrown that money down the drain. We will never use this restaurant again and urge anyone to think twice in ordering from them in the future.

Excellent food, staff, and presentation. The level of spice was varied to match preferred taste. Location is great, loads of on-street parking outside. The Tom Yum soup was really good, great taste. The curries are also fresh and taste very good. Good size portions also. Setting and decor are really modern and tasteful. Very good ambience. Highly recommend this place. Much better and better priced than some other over-priced ones like Nakhon Thai.

We dined at Thai and Pie for dinner tonight, and as an Asian and a fan of Asian cuisine, I was eager to try their offerings. The egg fried rice was excellent—flavorful and perfectly cooked (5/5). The chicken Thai Tom Yum was decent but didn’t particularly stand out (4/5). The chicken satay, however, was a bit too heavy on the sauce, which overpowered the taste (3/5). I ordered the lamb chop for myself but found it challenging to review. Personally, I didn’t enjoy it as the meat had a strong smell that lingered, and the dish looked more like a curry than a traditional lamb chop. However, my husband tried it and found it quite good, so it might just be a matter of personal preference. The highlight of our meal was the prawn crackers served with chili sauce—they were delicious and well-prepared (5/5). We also loved the drinks, particularly the strawberry milkshake and orange juice, which were both refreshing (5/5). The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was pleasant (5/5 for both). Most importantly, the pricing was reasonable and worth the experience (5/5). One thing to note—Thai and Pie is a cash-only establishment, so make sure to bring cash with you! Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with a few minor misses but plenty of highlights. We’d definitely consider returning.

They just hosted 8 families. We ordered our dishes in advance. The children, teenagers, ladies and gents, we all enjoyed our food. The whole menus was tasted. They brought out drinks and starters family by family followed by the mains. Highly recommended.

Great place for authentic Thai cuisine Try the first sip of Tom yum and I know I have come to the right place, Jasmine rice is another must have for your curry. It’s not just cheap plain rice, they have good quality one so chewy, you taste how the Asian have for their rice Not to mention the staff or boss are so friendly This is a must-go restaurant

Wonton - Mince filling. Great little starter. Calamari - Cooked very well. Chicken Satay - Out of the starters we got, this stood out the most. This was very moist and tasty. Drunken Noddles with Chicken - Extremely surprised with the quality of the food. The chef is Thai therefore the food tasted authentic. The dishes were full of flavour and the portions were very generous. I loved the interior. Simple but stylish. Can’t wait to go back with the family. Great customer service. Very friendly staff.

Second Thai and Pie I've been to. Excellent customer service. The restaurant is contemporary, decorated beautifully, and is very clean. The food was very tasty, the portion sizes were just right. The pies were of good value, a good size, and they came with two sides which were cooked well. We were also provided complimentary prawn crackers. The chicken starters were cooked well, and different to the usual ones. I've already got plans to go back - thanks!
