I like quite a few of the things in Roman but sadly they don't seem to cater for older ladies over 5ft.5inches the dresses are much too short well over the knee not a good look for the older lady sadly!
Very disappointed. it is the first time I am facing racism from this country. When I was selecting dresses, one of the staff grabbed all the dresses that I already selected. She didn't say anything about this. Then I asked her, why did you do this? she said, you can collect it from the counter. She spoke to me very roughly. And the counter staff also behaved very rude. The staff doesn't know how to behave. They don't know what is manners.
Thank you to the lovely ladies in the Roman shop in Bury today! I was trying to source some shorts for my holiday tomorrow. Nothing like being last minute, plus we are in winter but the team looked upstairs for me and found shorts in my size. Thank you for your help, it's really appreciated.
I am very disappointed in my experience in this shop. I used to enjoy coming to this store but after this experience, never again. What happened was, staff were extremely rude, I was just returning a dress I had bought. Seriously, they need to change their attitude towards customers.
Very ,very disappointed,shaken & upset after a visit . I am a 72 year old widow recovering from a mini stroke .I rarely visit Bury ( I live in Rossendale & travel with my daughter (an international opera singer) & my grandchildren) I visited today as I was meeting a friend for lunch. Whilst waiting for her I noticed the Roman shop in the Haymarket ( I like Roman clothes ..but usually buy online ). I visited the shop ,purchased 3 sale items and chatted with the assistant . I noticed a couple of other items ,but did not have a chance to try them on. Following lunch I decided to return to the shop and try the items (sadly they were not suitable ) I returned them to the rail. I left the shop and went outside to a bench to sort out my bag and ring my son to come to pick me up. The assistant who had served menl earlier came up to me outside and in front of people said ' Have you paid for those ?" referring to the clothes I was sorting in my bag ( purchased earlier ) She then realized when I spoke to her . However I felt totally humiliated in front of people and very shocked . I went into the shop and made my distress known She did apologise but the damage had been done . This has really knocked my confidence I was in tears when my son came to collect me . I realise people do shoplift and you have to be alert ,however this was dealt with in a most insensitive and humiliating manner . I shall never visit your shop again and am now seriously considering whether I shall ever purchase from your company again
No petite clothes. Jumpers tops etc all too long fore at 5 foot.
Never buy clothes from this store. It is very bad attitude to the customers and if nothing will fits you will never be able to get your money back even if you have all necessary documents.
Lovely shop bright colours good choices and reasonable prices
A well laid out shop with helpful staff. Some nice items but not always available in smaller sizes. Would be nice if they stocked the Dusk range too but I haven't seen it yet in this store.
One of my favourite shops. Very good quality clothing. They have a very good sale on at present.
