Visited the British last Friday. Been going there for 5 years the previous experience was shocking.. Cold food and and waiting 1 hour for the starters. When we complained.never again. The waiter Russell normally polite was rude when we asked how long was our food going to be.
Great interior, friendly staff, food taste was average. Lacking minimum spices/salt/sugar, very bland taste. Tried Reshmi Kebab, Egg Rice, Chicken Curry, Cheese naan.
Great food, great staff
Really slow service. Was there for a dine in, had starters as a dine in and due to the wait for over 1 hour on starters we had to resort to takeaway for the main course. Staff was under a lot of pressure but not bothered about how long the service was taking. Furthermore staff made silly comments when we asked for things and for food. Not happy in anyway I paid over £115 as it was a suprise birthday gathering but not happy in anyway
Lovely food and great service. Staff are always friendly.
Only got a take away , it looked like nearly every table was full , which says something , the food was lovely and the staff really friendly.
