Food was great, and the place has a nice atmosphere. The waitress was lovely, and was very attentive with our large group. Highly recommended!

I have been to this restaurant before few years ago and I loved it we went there again as a family to have a nice meal, I was so disappointed, the chicken I ordered smelled and tasted horrible. I only had two bites. Wine others food was good. The waitress could service with a bit of a smile, atmosphere was nice

A hidden family run jewel. The food was bang on and the waitress couldnt do enough for you. Reasonably priced and a fantastic bottle of red. Give it a go

After working for 35 years in the tourism and hospitality industry, common sense suggests writing only positive reviews to reward those who offer genuine hospitality and quality. However, I cannot avoid writing a very negative review this time, about a place that showed neither the ability nor the will to provide proper service or hospitality—whether in the dining area or in the kitchen. The pizza bore no resemblance to any kind of pizza, not even the worst frozen ones, and certainly not to anything remotely Italian. The dough was awful, the toppings scarce and poor in quality, and the cooking seemed entirely improvised. The service was equally disappointing: cutlets served on parchment paper, as if to drain the oil—although unfortunately, in this case, there was no trace of quality Italian oil. As for the service, after insisting over and over for a reserved table for five (initially given a tiny table for two with camping chairs squeezed together as if humans didn’t have legs), we finally had to settle for an indoor table with poor ventilation. Frankly, we should have left then and there. Ridiculous prices. Definitely not recommended.

The food looked good but very bland in flavour specially for an Italian, and with the chicken pasta dish I am almost certain the chicken was tinned chicken in white sauce, and no balsamic vinegar on the bruschetta, it will be the last time we go there unfortunately as we love Italian food and it’s 5 min walk, it might of been an off day for them so your miles may vary.

Ruined our Christmas day Food absolutely disgusting We left after the staff were rude and refused to acknowledge our concerns over quality and freshness Really disappointed, not even a roast potatoe in sight as they thought new potatoes were better? The turkey was rolled and stuffed with carrots as was awful Aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puddings The two young girls one of whom said she the manager did not want to hear and argued with me infront of other dinners and started abusing my table with young children saying we did not know good food nor did we understand how food should be presented and quality. Our children were upset which lead to us having to leave hungry on Christmas day and they refused to pay us the advance bill that we paid. Terrible stay away.

We went for Christmas Day Dinner. This was the first time we had eaten here, and we will certainly be back. The atmosphere in the restaurant was warm and welcoming, Tue service was excellent, the two waitresses who looked after us were calm, cheerful, friendly and attentive. The food portions were generous and the quality of each course was excellent, it was obvious a lot of care was taken in the preparation of our meals. Thank you to all the staff for a great Christmas Day Dinner,

We booked to go early in time for the theatre show. The two waitresses were doing their best in a very busy restaurant. We have eaten twice here the first was fantastic. The second was a long wait for our food with waitresses who were very stressed & totally miserable!! It’s a hard job but at such a busy time they needed more staff. There were other issues that spoilt an evening with us having to rush our food. The little I ate was lovely but there was an issue which I was made to feel guilty about. We hope to go back but with a three hour gap between eating and the show!!
