Really easy to book, music was playing all throughout, not too busy but still a nice atmosphere. food and drinks ordered on app didn’t take long to come at all and prices are brilliant!
Been coming here for many years now,recently ate the Christmas roast dinner..it was very well cooked and the turkey was soft and moist.big shout out for the bar staff who do a great job to..
We had such a lovely Saturday evening here with family and friends that we ended up coming back the next day for a roast. I really do love this place. The food is great, the staff are genuinely warm, Sam and the girls manage to stay attentive and kind even when the pub is absolutely packed. There’s always a smile waiting for you. It just feels like home cozy, welcoming, and the kind of spot you’re happy to return to again and again.
We decided to come to have lunch here and wasn't disappointed. Food was really nice and also the portions, they currently have a offer at the moment on their lunch time menu which does say a bit. Staff where really friendly and welcoming. Sam was the lady how served us and made sure we were ok. Great customer service and atmosphere. We will definitely be back
A nice meal with friends, good atmosphere and great prices will return. Sam was friendly and kind really recommended her, she went above and beyond for our Party and was so kind to the kids. Huge huge thanks to her, what a credit to your team!
Had a lovely experience. Went over during the week for my dads birthday and we truly really enjoyed ourselves. The prices are reasonable and the staff is absolutely outstanding. Would 100% recommend
Having watched the first 3 England games in this local pub. I have been really impressed with the atmosphere of the place and the organisation of the events. The table service has been excellent and the girls have worked their socks off. We'll done all, I will be back Sunday for the next game. Cheers
Great food friendly staff good prices lovely pub
The pub looks very tired and that is putting it nicely! Ordered six meals...They forgot to cook one meal! My daughter burger came up with two bun tops, one ice cold (Like freezing) and one burnt to a crisp. She just got on with it and ate the cold bun and with the burger on top - I complained when the waiter walked past and was just offered a new bun... But she had finished eating what she could! What was annoying as they clearly knew the bun was burnt and put that bit face down! Generally the food was very poor with most not finishing. The meal they forgot was clearly rushed through, and when it arrived was not very warm and half of it was left! Ladies toilets, one cubuical blocked and the other with the lock broken... Bench seat we were sat at had the covering coming away and kept on getting on your hands - Sure I ate some of it by accident!! (Better than what they served up!)
First time being back here in over 10 years. It was for my mum's birthday meal out for 3 people. The pub inside does look nice in there, plenty of tables. Ordered via the app there for the food and drinks. English Tea, Heineken and a Peroni. They brought everything except the tea. So we were waiting for them to come back with it.. about 5 or so minutes goes by and we go up to the bar to ask.. then the staff member only now just tells us that the place is out of milk and the tea wasn't coming. They did offer to change it for something but my mum doesn't drink any of the other stuff at dinners. We ordered the 3 traditional roast beef dinners and they came lukewarm. The beef slices were mostly gristle and the dinner was overall low quality. Good size quantity of food, just didn't taste great, had an old plasticy type taste to it all. The gravy was a small pot for 3 people as well. We had to go up and ask for another pot of gravy. Everybody else felt the same about their meals, but my mum stopped eating it a few minutes in.
