   We ordered the food after 20 minutes they come and check our receipt to find out what we ordered then they disappeared then another one come again the same story then after 45 minutes we went to the till asked them where is our order then they find out they put as take away is on our receipt was clearly table 24 when they found our food they start to give us the cold food which was ready 30 minutes ago when we asked them to make fresh one they said they don’t have any more chicken how can Nando’s don’t have chicken Avoid going to this Nando’s as Evry time we have been there it’s a problem

   Used to be a massive fan of this particular branch and historically the managers have been great. The last time I went the manager made me feel very uncomfortable placing an allergy order. He insisted on noting the order as “undeclared allergy” even though I declared the allergy. He said it “didn’t matter” but insisted they take allergies seriously. I wouldn’t order the food until he changed to “declared allergy”. It made me worry why he didn’t want to do this in the first place. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. Will not return while this current manager is there. Wasted £100 on a family meal we didn’t enjoy.

   My husband and I ordered the great imitator wrap, which we have had numerous times in other branches. But when it was served it was cold. When we communicated this, we got told “it is that way but the vegan chicken is hot”. But actually everything was cold including the vegan chicken. Disappointing that we were not listened to, because actually the staff were friendly and attentive when we ordered the food. Shame as we have moved closer to Lakeside, will be coming here more often but will not go to the nando branch here.

   I was excited to try Nandos while visiting Lakeside in London. The place was clean and staff was friendly. We viewed the menu and them the order is done at the register. The guest retrive their own utensils and condoments. However the ice machine was broken, there was no burgers buns for burgers. We ended up trying the sunset sandwich, was pretty good and I did enjoy the flavor of the chicken. The bread that made the sandwich was pretty small yet the 2 pieces of chicken thigh did not fill it up. My mom had the 1/4 chicken and double rice. She liked it, we also had the dragon fruit drink, it was from a box. Overall it was OK.. Date of experience: 10 June 2024

   We were seated fairly quick even with the normal Friday rush. And plush we had our little one and push. Got seats which had plenty of space for all of us. Food came quick and friendly helpful staff. Easy to order via the app or online so no need to wait in the queue to order food.

   Visited Nando’s Lakeside-food court a few times. Always nice food, I think it’s the only Nando’s which does the fully loaded chips, tried first time. Only small problem is that the wash rooms are upstairs.

   Been there few weeks ago, straight away got a table(normally Nando’s are busy). Served timely and great food. I am giving 4 stars because the members of staffs frequently ask us how is the food that makes us cares and looked after well.

   Lovely food and great service, Three of us went and we paid separately. Two of us paid using the QR code on the table and one at the till. At the till a blue light card was accepted but on the app for blue light card it doesn't show Nando's as having a discount code so two of us paid full price. On realising that they do in fact accept blue light card I asked if we could get a refund. The manager was amazing and he refunded the discount for both of us who ordered using the QR code. Great service, he was pretty good looking too which made it an even more pleasurably lunch ;-)

   Pretty standard Nando’s experience. Restaurant was clean and tidy, staff were efficient and food was of the quality you would expect from this franchise. The fact this one is situated in the busy food hall part of the mall, means you may have to wait for a table at peak times. Recommended if you need your chicken fix
