Very tasty food, the steak is deliciously seasoned and juicy. The crab is beautifully served and tasty. The service was not very interested in the guests. A few items were missing on the menu, including the draft beer. Thanks to the chef, the taste of the dishes made us return there for sure.

Was a bit disappointed to be honest, as had been to the one in Southend. Had Lobster pops and a New York strip steak. Just found it all to oily. Steak did taste good and cooked as I asked for. Staff friendly and helpful. Potato Dauphinois yummy. I think it's expensive for what it is..

I was struggling on where to eat whilst in lakeside but when I passed this place that didn’t look too busy and somewhere I hadn’t tried before I decided to give it a go. It was not a bad choice at all! They have a special on Sunday, their Sunday roast which was good. Amazing starters we had the lobster Bon Bons and prawn and lobster bites. Their drinks were good too. Staff were friendly and decor is beautiful in there. Reasonably priced. I would definitely come back. Service charge was optional.

The star is only for the good food and drinks. The service was absolutely terrible seemed like only one waitress was taking orders and the other 5 were just standing around. We ordered our food and drinks and where it is so unorganised 2 waiters came up one after the other asking if we need to order. The chef was shouting service from the kitchen but yet no waiter seemed to be going over. The staff were rude aswell, would not recommend.

For the amount you are paying the service could be better. We ordered Olives and starters and everything come together with the mains which was a little strange. Asked for some water and the waitress answered "oh yes I guess, sure". Loads of meals stacked waiting to be delivered to tables, you could hear the chef shouting service please out of the kitchen a number of times. Took sometime for our drinks to arrive at the table. The sides of veg are shown on the menu as £3.50 per item. Our waitress told us they are £4 on the system nothing we can do to change that. Perhaps reprint your menus then? For the cost it is not a quick bite to eat out please, therefore you would expect the service to match up what you are paying for.

Really loved it here, new restaurant on boardwalk in Lakeside, was on the way to Wagamama but saw this and walked in. Service, Food and drink along with the restaurant and location are nearly faultless, or they were for our visit. Good bits Cocktails: honey bee and rum crumble delicious Starters: Lobster bonbons and King prawn and Lobster bites dish, presented beautifully and delicious, was piping hot also Mains: Ramen broth with sirloin, spicy and interesting, better than Wagamama (bit more expensive but worth it). Wagu burger with truffle fries, very hot and fresh, moist lovely texture Bad bits Am really being critical here and these are mentioned as to help the restaurant Glass stuck to table (I pretended to be a magician and two waitresses couldn't move it) table and / or glass obviously not clean and dried 100% Fantastic meal and visit, thanks very much was first meal out in a long time Good luck with this new venture and we will return soon Waitress spilled a bit of my cocktail
