Very good food, the young bloke behind the bar called Liam was a good help, very welcoming and friendly.
Awful experience tonight. Was told a 10 minute wait for one cod, three sausages and chips. Took 30 minutes! Food wasn't even that great. On a Saturday night you would expect the staff to be a bit more organised instead they cook as and when you come in and order but clearly phone orders take preference over customers in person. Organisation was a total shambles.
The food was lovely and the staff were attentive and kind. The cod was delicious but the star was the batter. Also,the chips were some of the best. Overall, the fish and chips were just as good as what you’d get on the coast.
The best fish and chips in Upminster. A long-standing family-run business that has been on the highstreet for as long as I can remember. The food is always made fresh, and the taste is not bettered in Upminster. There is also a restaurant should you wish to dine in, I'd recommend booking as seating is a little limited.
The food and service is excellent albeit in very ordinary surroundings, my wife and I love eating here
Really lovely Cod and Chips. Curry sauce and Mushy peas for 2 with drink £29 Ate inside restaurant.. Top quality and well priced. Fresh fish, good batter, serve piping hot. Loved it
Very upset with the size of the cod I ordered a large but it was very small. The chips were hard and I would not recommend to anyone looking for a good fish and chip takeaway this is definitely not it
Really meaty cod. Good size portion of chips. Tasty mushy peas. One large cod and one large chips just right for 2 of us to share.
I stopped here with my crewmate while on our break at work as i’d heard really good reviews about it- wow! it was the best fish & chips we’ve ever had.
