This is our go to place for an Indian takeaway in Hornchurch. The food is amazing!! Biryani is always tasty, vegetable curry and sides never disappoint. The food is made freshly, with good quality ingredients and is always piping hot. If there's ever been an issue with our order (hasn't arrived when expected, missing item) the manager/ owner is lovely and sorts out any problem quickly. He even went the extra mile once and delivered our order himself, one busy evening, when we'd been waiting a long time. A fab place and reasonable priced too. Our order came to less than £30 for four of us.
First time eating in this restaurant. Was a quiet Sunday night. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Food was delicious, cooked perfectly. Nothing was oily and the meat was not tough or dry. Very reasonably priced and waiters leave you to relax and enjoy your meal without being pushy to buy anything! I will definitely be coming back here again and have recommended to family and friends
Such a wonderful meal . The food was piping hot, fresh and full of flavours . Abdul was so friendly and kind and made us feel really welcome . We love their food for both eating in and take away - always a great experience . Highly recommend !

It’s been a while since we ordered take out from Uraswamy’s and cannot believe how different it was. Ordering was quick and easy via the website and it was ready very quickly. However the standard of the meal was nowhere near what we have had in the past. Both mains were literally swimming in oil and I had to drain it off before serving up, there was far too much onion in my dish, and instead of slices it had been diced. Really disappointed and probably need to find a new takeaway.
Take away arrived an hour late and cold. Was given an acceptable 1 hour wait but was getting on for 2 hours when it arrived. Always nice to have complimentary poppadoms but a shame they were smashed into little pieces. Fobbed off when I phoned. Its a shame, I usually rate them highly and the food was good once it was reheated. Looking for a new favourite Indian takeaway.
Lovely Curry House with good food and great prices. Fantastic friendly staff too. I've had meals there once or twice a year for about a dozen years and it has been consistently good every time. I'm not a "foodie" or a curry expert but I do feel that the food, service and atmosphere at Uraswamys make for a great dining experience.
