   I recently placed an order for a Royal Blue Check Print suit from this company, only to receive a completely different item — a light blue check print suit. This was particularly distressing as I had ordered it specifically for a wedding. Despite admitting their error and acknowledging that the correct item was now discontinued, the company refused to offer any compensation beyond a simple refund. I have been left out of pocket, having to purchase a replacement suit elsewhere at more than double the original cost, all because of their mistake. What makes this worse is that there was no proper quality control or final verification before dispatch, something I can prove was done with my previous order. Yet, they still claim this was a “human error” and consider their legal obligation fulfilled by refunding the item. I have since escalated the matter to senior management, initiated a claim through the Consumer Court, and will be sharing my experience with Trading Standards. The handling of this issue has been unprofessional, dismissive, and entirely lacking accountability. I strongly urge anyone considering purchasing from this company to be cautious — their after-sales service and complaint handling fall far below acceptable standards. A simple apology does not make up for wasted time, effort, and financial loss.

The service, from Trish at the Salford store to the online team, was excellent—prompt, accommodating, and a huge help with the size adjustments we needed. The suits are great quality and there's a good variety to choose from.

   Highly recommend Marc Darcy, suits and service are exceptional. Just brought the Groom and Groomsmens suits from Marc Darcy for our wedding in the summer. Truly exceptional service from Karen, (big thanks Karen for putting up with my family!) they video called me from the shop, Karen held the camera, showed me ties and waistcoats and really spent time with us so we got everything perfect. The suits are really great quality, they all have a little something that makes them special and we are so glad we made the 3hr trip to get them. Thanks for everything and we will be back with the sizes for the other 3 suits we need. Speak soon. Thanks again

   Purchased a shirt, tie and requested a suits worth of buttons (to have my own suit altered) which they sent free of charge! I even offerred to pay for the buttons and postage but they refused, truly a company that cares and wants to offer the best quality service! I only wish I could have bought a suit from them but unfortunately they don't offer Long variations for suit sizes. However, if I ever end up in Salford and need a suit for any occasion rest assured I will be visiting because the customer service was exceptional considering I was an online customer also FYI the shirt / tie are fantastic quality.

   I haven’t bought directly from Marc Darcy but a local stockist! I love the suits they are great! But the last two that I have had the trouser pockets have been dreadful and split within a day of wearing them! So had to get them repaired. I did contact MD direct about the issue on the first suit but the response was really “not interested” as I hadn’t purchased direct! There still your suits no matter where I buy them!

   Top class suits and first class service. Trish attended to us and was very helpful in picking out a suit and the right sizes, her attention and customer service was second to none. When I had bought my suit and later reconsidered for a suit I had earlier tried on, she exchanged the suit no problem. These guys offer a quality product backed up by helpful staff and you leave feeling you have had a first class customer experience. Fully recommend Marc Darcy, top class.
